Hi, I took my NCLEX PN (Michigan) exam today Feb. 8th, 2016 @ 8 am. This is my second attempt at taking this exam. Once I completed my exam I went directly to try the "person vue trick" like I did last time, which I used a cc that didn't have funds on it and it requested that I used a different source of payment so I did and I was charged $200 knowingly that I failed based off what I read I never received the "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam....". This time around I was going to wait the 48 hours for quick results, however I couldn't wait of course so I went in once again a cc with no funds on it and this time I received the red symbol with message "This candidate currently has an open registration for this exam..." I was over joyed crying of the thought that I passed! However when I arrived home and attempted to do the trick with a cc with funds on it, unfortunately this time around it took the exam fee of $200! I called my bank to stop payment of course they couldn't! How stupid of me right! Then I did online chat with a person vue customer rep who stated that the person vue trick is true however not always accurate and to allw 48 hours for my unofficial results...So I need to know is there anyone out there that knows if this a pass/ fail or wait 48 hours for results and accept that I donated $200

Seeing as you did not wait the 24 hours before trying, both results are a crap shoot. The NCLEX is scored twice. Once at the facility, and then again within 24 hours. If you do it before the 24 hours is up then any results you get may not be accurate and any results after that may not be accurate.
This is why I did not do the PVT. It is correct a majority of the time, but was it worth it to get overjoyed excited if you possible actually failed? I have read here about people who wait 24 hours and get charged only to find they actually passed. I have also read here of people waiting the 24 hours, getting the good pop up and still failing.
No one here has a magic 8 ball to tell you if you possibly passed. Your best bet is to wait the 48 ish hours and get your unofficial results.

I did it less Han 24hrs after and so did all of my friends. The results were accurate for all of us and we didn't get billed.

Since you spoke directly with a Pearson View employee who advised you that the results are not always accurate and you should wait 48 hours, why would you expect us to answer differently?
Many people will tell you stories about the accuracy of the PVT (Pearson Vue Trick) and how, because it worked for them, it is 100% without fail accurate. I suggest you take the advice of the Pearson View employee. Wait 48 hours and you will have your answer.

If you did the trick once with an invalid card why on earth did you offer Pearson $200 a second time! No refunds you agreed to not create a duplicate registration which is exactly what you did when attempting the trick. You chose to do the trick twice in less than 24 hours now there is nothing you can do but wait until Quick Results or your BoN posts results. You either donated $200 or prepaid your next registration. We can only guess now. Even Pearson told you to wait 48 hrs.

Why can nobody wait the 48 hours?
Thanks for all the rude responses however when your life and lively hood depends on the results this exam then you'll go great lengths to find out and 48 hours of waiting would've had me in the ER for a panic attack! I'll never post on here again thinking I'm among other fellow nurses who understand and cares.
I'm sorry that you could not wait 48 hours without seeking emergency medical attention.
I'm sorry you didn't trust your first response and then offered $200 to Pearson Vue a second time which they took.
I'm sorry that the response from Pearson Vue to wait 48 hours to check quick results was not sufficient for your needs. I can honestly say I have no earthly idea what response you wanted us to give you.
You had a "good pop up" though less reliable since you didn't wait 24 hours.
So you submitted again with valid credit card information and were subsequently charged $200.
You called your credit card company to dispute a valid charge (you agreed to twice) and were denied.
You called Pearson Vue and were told to wait for quick results.
No one has ever died waiting for NCLEX results due to the 24-48hr delay for the quality control check to be completed to ensure an accurate result is reported to your respective board of nursing to determine if you are qualified to be licensed as a nurse.
You made these choices we cannot reverse time. So Im sorry that you don't know if you passed or failed and still need to await quick results or notification from the BoN as to whether you passed. The wait today is now a day shorter than the wait yesterday.
I doubt many can understand why when you reportedly got an early "good pop up" you attempted the trick again with valid credit card information. The majority are one and done then await quick results or BoN.
I'm not sure what cares you were expecting. Maybe consult a licensed counseling professional to find the answer you seek?

I am sorry for your experiences ((HUGS)) but each and every one of us have had our livelihood and lives depend on that one single test. When I took the exam we had to wait 4 months for our results.
Pearson vue has not been reliable since an upgrade on their system.

I agree. The rudeness is uncalled for. I took my NCLEX today. I understand your worries fully. Stay positive. That's what I plan to do. Sorry no one is being kind.

Suggesting that someone follow the rules, be honest and take the advice of the people administering the test is not rude.
