The Person Vue Trick "2016"

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hi, I took my NCLEX PN (Michigan) exam today Feb. 8th, 2016 @ 8 am. This is my second attempt at taking this exam. Once I completed my exam I went directly to try the "person vue trick" like I did last time, which I used a cc that didn't have funds on it and it requested that I used a different source of payment so I did and I was charged $200 knowingly that I failed based off what I read I never received the "The candidate currently has an open registration for this exam....". This time around I was going to wait the 48 hours for quick results, however I couldn't wait of course so I went in once again a cc with no funds on it and this time I received the red symbol with message "This candidate currently has an open registration for this exam..." I was over joyed crying of the thought that I passed! However when I arrived home and attempted to do the trick with a cc with funds on it, unfortunately this time around it took the exam fee of $200! I called my bank to stop payment of course they couldn't! How stupid of me right! Then I did online chat with a person vue customer rep who stated that the person vue trick is true however not always accurate and to allw 48 hours for my unofficial results...So I need to know is there anyone out there that knows if this a pass/ fail or wait 48 hours for results and accept that I donated $200

Best wishes to everyone and sorry for the wait!

I feel the same way. I'm not sure what to believe

Thanks for all the rude responses however when your life and lively hood depends on the results this exam then you'll go great lengths to find out and 48 hours of waiting would've had me in the ER for a panic attack! I'll never post on here again thinking I'm among other fellow nurses who understand and cares.

No one has been rude, just offered their opinion. You are on a public forum. People aren't always going to pat your back & coddle you. You will see that as you start working. If the varying of opinions over the internet has bothered you, I suggest you start growing a thicker skin now before you start working. Because your coworkers & bosses won't be any nicer.

The opinion on the PVT is very polarized. Either people believe it works or other people don't believe it at all, there is no grey area.

Yes, all of us who are or have been nurses sat through the NCLEX. We lived without doing the PVT & waiting two days two find out if we passed. Especially those "back in the day" who had to wait months to get their results. Also, be glad you don't live in California.

You should not base your pass or failure of the NCLEX off the PVT alone. If you do that, you are setting yourself up for failure. Also, if you can't wait 2 days to find out if you passed you are in for a long road in your career.
