A member pm'd me the following question highlighted below. We created this thread for you guys to talk about math, solve math problems, and post math websites that you have found helpful.

I was wondering, is there a sticky or a special site that can be coordinated for "math sufferers". Perhaps, beginning calculations or shall i say the basics..simple to complex...step by step on how to calculate. I'm a visual learner, numbers and I don't work well. I am trying, but I've got a block!

Guys! There are weblinks to tutorials on how to do dimensional analysis on the first page of this thread--post #3.

In my nursing school the first semester you have a math test which you have 3 chances to get 100% on. If you don't get a perfect score after the 3rd time you are kicked out. We also have a math test each semester after that which you must get 100% or you flunk the class.

We have 3 tries to get 80%.

And that's a very good thing considering I didn't pass the dosage calculation test last night :banghead:

yes, that is the correct answer.

You got it, 4 hours into 240ml=60ml/hr - so 10gtt drip set=1ml x 60 min = 60ml.

Fun is it not?

LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! DAYTONITE, I can ALWAYS count on wise words from you! Not to mention some funny ones

We learned dimensional analysis today in calc classes, all I can say is WOW what a difference that formula makes when looking at "complex" Med calcs.
