  1. Are we not working when we teach the public prevention? (Including during a pandemic!!!) I am not just thinking about H1N1 but anything that comes along. Something I think about is the TB nurses way back when up till this day that take a major risk every day and understand the risks. My stand remains the same, regardless of the risk I will help no matter what. I do not belive that this is a suicide mission, my family knows how I feel, I care about my fellow human beings even if it causes my downfall, at least I was thinking about someone else other than myself!
  2. Good luck you are going to do fine!
  3. I took my test in CO, It is strange on the Pearson page it stated that results were not available, so I went to the boards website just for the heck of it and my # was there. I was blown away, now today when I check Pearson it said my result were ready ( just wanted to see ) and I could pay 7.95 to view my results.
  4. I PASSED, GOT MY LICENSE # ALREADY WITHIN 36 HOURS OF TAKING MY TEST!!!! I hope everybody does as well!!!!!!!!
  5. Know your meds, all of them including pt teaching.
  6. I saw a post on the forum about 6 months ago and decided to start buying N95s and stocking up with bleach also, and yes I would help regardless of government mandates or whatever. I did not get into this profession to not help but I will protect myself even if it takes buying the gear myself.
  7. I got the popup but I have not seen anybody that has got to the cc page and passed and vice-versa, I know that it would be depressing for me but if I do not pass I will post it, to ? the "trick". This is just way too stressful (way more than the wait for your acceptance letter).
  8. Has anyone tried the "trick" and got the popup and still failed? If so I am sorry, had to ask since I am just stressing and want to get some real sleep (finally). My wife thinks that this stress that we all go through is silly but until you are in that position I do not believe that is a fair assumption.
  9. Thanks for the support.
  10. I felt like I bombed it, so results will be ready on Wed, let you know.
  11. I am waiting for my results but the pearson book was the way I went it is the 2008 ed, the CD has a study section and does rationale after every ?. I hope this helps. Good Luck You are going to do fine remeber 3rd time is the charm!:yelclap:
  12. Congrats, how many and what type? and how did you feel when you walked out?
  13. I used the Pearson study guide and was pretty consistent in my practice scores (60s-and 70s) but I took the test today and felt like I had never even tried to study. Test ended at 80 but from what I hear on other places in the foum if you got med calcs you are not doing good (I am not sure how true that is I got 2) but I also got a lot of the SATA, infection controll, triage (very difficult not just an easy ABC answer!), and management. I walked out feeling like I bombed this one. Well I can use quick view so will let everyone on wednesday, whats done is done and its only another $200 haha and a week of STRESS!
  14. You got it, 4 hours into 240ml=60ml/hr - so 10gtt drip set=1ml x 60 min = 60ml. Fun is it not?
