One of the things NEB and I have remarked upon is the difference in the background music and musical guests so far in these conventions. The DNC certainly has the benefit of some pretty popular and current artists wanting to be associated with the Harris campaign. The music is good! The state's roll call play list is now part of my Spotify Playlist.

Republicans tried and tried to keep this initiative off of the ballot. It seems like they would want to know what the people of the state think about this issue.

There are always voices encouraging the people to not take the fascists seriously and to trust that their ideas won't be executed in any kind of uncomfortable or unacceptable ways. That part of the history of Mussolini and Hitler is fascinating.
