That's very shortsighted of you. When a person moves into and repairs a blighted house, they become taxpayers. Their properties become more valuable, etc. Communities in which people are invested are called successful. Businesses will move in, etc. When people are housing insecure their brains don't work normally. It makes no sense not to house people.

Thank you ... not watching the election for my own mental health. I've done what I could and now it's time to do a little something for the head and binge watch Nurse Jackie. We've discussed "border czar". I posted a video of liberal media referring her as that and then when the border situation became what it is, those same ones tried to pretend she was never that.
Asylums are down because Biden implemented a policy, similar to one Trump had but Biden got rid of, that he could have implemented a long time ago. Or, better yet, he should have never got rid of Trump's policies.
Great for immigrants in DC. Legal immigration is wonderful.

I've already said it. She got Mexico to police it's own Southern border which is a lot easier than policing ours. No Republican has done that. She got investors to built manufacturing sites in the four countries with the largest floods of citizens leaving. No Republican has done that. No Republican has done anything to help. The people who flooded in asking for asylum are here LEGALLY. If you don't like it, we need to change the asylum regulation. I don't have a problem with that. Only Trump's sycophant SCOTUS would allow him to ignore what is in our constitution. The only thing that makes sense is to cut bulk immigration is to make it attractive for people to stay in their own countries. We are now ruled by corporations who want the cheap labor. My friends in Orange Country complain incessently about the browning of their county but I notice that their gardener and house keeper are Mexican. They have a yard smaller than my little house but they can't manage to want to cut the grass or plant a flower. They can't manage to clean their own house. Complain they may (and it's really ugly), but they, deep in their souls, WANT these people here to do their scut work. If people and corporations didn't want this flood of people here, it wouldn't be happening. God forbid we shouldn't have our meat sources interfered with during the earliest days of Covid. A lot of those workers died because their masters wouldn't provide a safe environment. Also, they are in the middle of nowherevilles and the no one comes to check if they are legal or not. All of this just so people don't have to be cut off from their hamburgers while workers are sickened. Fentanyl comes across the border because we demand it.
