The biggest gainer was Elon Musk, the world's richest person and one of Trump's most outspoken and dedicated supporters, whose wealth jumped $26.5 billion to $290 billion Wednesday, according to Bloomberg. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' wealth grew $7.1 billion a week after defending his decision to withhold the Washington Post's endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris. Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison, another Trump supporter, saw his net worth rose $5.5 billion Wednesday.
Other gainers include former Microsoft executives Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, former Google executives Larry Page and Sergey Brin and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Although none of those billionaires endorsed a candidate this year, they have spoken in favor of Democratic candidates and causes in the past.
Collectively, the top 10 richest people gained $64 billion.
That's quite a haul for one day, speaking of the elite. I know stocks rise and fall but "record amount" caught my eye. I guess it's relative. I got maybe $3,000?

You aren't reading what I wrote. Harris got Mexico to police THEIR southern border, NOT OURS. Their border is miniscule next to ours and much easier to close. You have me confused with someone else re: allowing asylum seekers into this country without checking out criminal records first. I am pro asylum controls which the Republicans shot down. You are disingenuous in entering illegals into the conversation. If 480,000 people were deported in 2019, we can assume.that numbers even rose over the years. If they were all illegals, I don't have a problem with that. The Republicans don't want migration reform. That would.remove the cause of their most successful grievance. Otherwise, they don't have any other sensible policies about anything important to most citizens. Now Trump will have to monitor what he says about Muslims since their Dearborn votes were crucial to him. How ironic. He did have one terrific idea for me. If income taxes were eliminated and.replaced with a 25% vat tax, I'd be all for it. I pay a lot in income.taxes and already bought my new caw this year. I'd be.much better off not paying income taxes. If there is a silver lining pretty much everyone is now saying the election was legit. No smoking gun from the fear based rhetoric.

If people feel that it wasn't legit, by all means, say it. If government officials think there were fraudulent votes, investigate it.

We all discussed four years ago that there has always been fraudulent voting. I'm sure some will be uncovered this election. It's never been on a significant scale. Not four years ago, and surely not now.
The left set a precedent that that asked Trump and his followers to accept the results of a free and fair election for years ago. They are exhibiting this behavior now.
Certainly though if there were evidence that Trump stole the election and that Harris was the winner, they'd do everything legally possible to prove it.
I don't entertain "fun thoughts". I'm more reality based.
So what? In elections this close, recounts are inevitable. You can bet that if Casey lost, Trumpt would be out there asking for donations to pay for 100 recounts.
