Have you ever heard this song? I'm graduating from an Accelerated BSN program on Friday and this song explains how this year has been exactly. Basically it says that it's not just about what's at the end, but what it takes to get there.

There were times this year when it just didn't seem possible to finish. Now, I'm about t graduate with a 3.9!!! I have made amazing, life long friends during this year and my family (husband, myself and three kiddos) have sacrificed so much, but here we are at the end and it's all going to pay off! :heartbeat I'll never forget my experiences this year.

For you guys that are just starting out, take a listen of this song and it will give you the encouragement to keep on trying. You WILL make it, despite how impossible it seems at times!:yeah:

Congratulations to you. I like "The Climb" by Gwen Stefani. When I read your post I thought that was what you were talking about. I am going to listen to Miley's song as well. But for me personally-I like Gwen Stefani's it does play to my life so well-Good Luck and Positive thoughts to you:heartbeat:nurse::heartbeat

It's hard not to notice this song! lol It's on both country and pop radio. I had heard it but never payed much attention to it until I got in the car after passing my school's nursing math test that's required to enter the program. I was SO proud of myself for jumping my final hoop and this song almost made me cry!!! I've accomplished SO much but I also know I have a LOOONG way to go! :D

Thanks to all. Started applying for jobs yesterday. Jobs seem easy to come by here in Odessa, Texas. I hope that's the case. :D

This song was played lastnite during the slideshow at our pinning ceremony all of my classmates as well as myself felt that it was a perfect fit to the long year that we all had survived in nursing school. I think it fits a lot of areas in all of our lives. :nurse:

I passed the nclex! I just checked it this 3am, i took it on August 18, 2009. The song climb was my inspirational song!

My nursing song is "The time of my life" by David Cook. Not really my nursing song, it was my pre-req song,lol! I'm sure I'm an underdog on this but I just don't care for that Miley Cyrus.
