I just wanted to start a thread to show some support for our hard-working mods.

Your job is never easy, but today, it's especially difficult.

I can't speak for everyone, but I know I speak for many when I say that what you all do is appreciated.

Keep your heads up.

My thanks as well to the Admin and moderator team. Having once been a part of it, I understand how difficult it must be to conduct business as usual during this crisis, but you are doing a magnificent job of it. Hang in there, you all...better days are ahead, but we've all got to get through the initial shock and grief. (((HUGS))) to all of you!!

+1

Hugs from me too

Again thank you for this thread. It is a real boost and will continue to be during the days ahead. I would like to include appreciation for all the "behind the scenes" folks who work so hard at keeping this site running..........guides, moderators, administrators. Please don't forget the office Admins who worked alongside Brian and saw him on a daily basis. They too are struggling. But we all are trying to do our best to keep doing our jobs.......business as usual.......with very heavy hearts.

We appreciate all that the members are doing to help us. Help us keep all negativity at bay as those situations only add to our already heavy loads and heavy hearts.

Thank you

Thank you so much for everything you do. It is easy to take for granted all that goes on here at AN, but would not be possible if you all were not here.

During this time, I think you have doubly reminded us of what it means to be nurses; strength through trial, and shown us again why Mr. Short started AN.

I don't know fully how to say it, but that I greatly appreciate you all and thank you.

I have never met Brian in real life and didn't interact too much with him here. Even so, I am having a hard time reconciling it, and I can only imagine how hard it must be for those who knew him personally. Not only are his friends and families in my thoughts, but everyone behind the scenes and not so behind the scenes are in my thoughts as well. Thank you for all you have done and everything you continue to do even in the face of grief.

I'd like to add my thanks for all that you guys have done and continue to do to keep this site going. I am so thankful for your commitment and sacrifice in this difficult time.

Thanks everyone - there are so many of us that knew Brian and his family. Especially hit hard are our office staff who worked with him on a daily basis.

Such a tragedy!

I don't even have words....everyone else has said it so eloquently. I have been on AN since 2000 (under a different name, but that's another story) and the admins, guides, and moderators have always been so helpful. Brian was lucky to have all of you as his team. (((Hugs))) to each and every one of you

Thanks to all that keep this site going. been a member since 2004 and many times I would come here to vent and always felt comfort and understanding from all who post here. This site must go on and with the hard work and dedication, it will remain the voice of nurses everywhere.

Gone but never forgotten, RIP Brian.

My heart goes out to the Allnurses community. I am rarely around here these days, but when I was told the news by a coworker, my heart broke for everyone. Brian was an amazing man who made a tremendous impact on the nursing profession.

Thanks to not only the mods, but to everybody involved in keeping AN up and running during this difficult time. I can't imagine how difficult and painful it must be to continue working so hard while also figuring out where you go from here. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.
