Everyone, Hello,
This thread is created for anyone who is applying for a 2011 Nursing School Program! We can await our fates together. I think that waiting is going to be the hardest part! I am applying to a Community College for an ADN RN program. Applications are due Sept. 20th and we should know by early Novemeber!! My school just told me that they may also consider a math class that I took (with a higher grade) over College Algebra, which would significantly raise my GPA! I am hopeful!! Where is everyone else applying and when will you potentially find out?!
Hi Wannabnur, I just put application today for Seminole State/UCF Concurrent Program. I was number 139.
I'm so excited!! Hope we make it - they told me we should know by Thanksgiving.
I finish my pre-reqs this Summer - hopefully that won't work against me.
my GPA 3.8 and Teas 77.3%
Keep me posted!! : )
Hi there rmcconnon.
You wouldn't happen to be taking Spanish II at SLM campus on T & TH would you? I ask because your scenario sounds just like a friend of mine that turned hers in today as well. Just wondering if you are my friend. Anyway, if you're not her, then just wanted to let you know that after class, we went to check the sign in sheet for the SLM campus and there were like 31 or so names on that list. I don't know how many will come from Heathrow and Oviedo campuses, but maybe there won't be as many applicants as there usually is.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of us! Good job on the GPA and TEAS. I have a 4.0 GPA and also got 77.3 on the TEAS. That is one confusing test. They make almost all the answer choices look like they could be correct.
Good Luck and Conrats!!!!

I am still waiting for the offical word mid-November......but I attended an informational meeting at the school I applied for (which I should have done before I applied) and was told that applicants with a 4.0 in the three science pre-reqs are "in".
Which I have.....yeah for me! Studying so hard and long, and sleeping so little the past year. So, 99.99% confident the mailman will be delivering good news in seven weeks!!!!!!
