I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
For those of you who will be applying for Fall 2016, here's a link to the blog post for that entrance period. However, if you have any questions or comments, don;t hesitate to send me a PM. Thanks!!! https://allnurses.com/texas-nursing/el-centro-nursing-973993.html
Do you know what hospitals participate? We do the majority at a Methodist System Hospital....and then go to Children's for peds, I believe.
It might vary from semester to semester but spring 2015 first semester students went to the Dallas VA Medical Center or another hospital in mesquite. That same friend got to do clinicals at Baylor in Carrollton and Parkland for second semester.
Hi you guys! I just created a Facebook page called "North Lake and El Centro Nursing Spring 2016". Please come and join me where we can meet each other and share information. It will be a nice tool to post study materials or plan to meet for studying. Lets work together and get through this together! No more competition.. it's all about teamwork!!
Hi everyone!!! SO I am ECSTATIC:up: To say I have been accepted into Spring 2016, El Centro campus which was my first choice; turned in my acceptance today. After initially receiving a denial and going through the long wait, my outcome has been more than worth every single thing!!! I am beyond excited and look forward to seeing everyone on 12/1.

Hello,
Good Luck to all of you applying for Spring 2016. I am applying for the fall 2016 start and had a question.
Does anybody know if they will give you credit on additional classes even though the exact course isn't the same. For example, I took Music Appreciation instead of Art Appreciation and Intro to Anthropology instead of Intro to Sociology. I know that UTA would accept these classes for BSN but wanted to know if anyone has experienced this and received credit.
