I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
For those of you who will be applying for Fall 2016, here's a link to the blog post for that entrance period. However, if you have any questions or comments, don;t hesitate to send me a PM. Thanks!!! https://allnurses.com/texas-nursing/el-centro-nursing-973993.html
I kept trying to reply to you but it wasn't attaching. What school did you decide to go through?
Hello everyone,
It has been a long journey to get into the nursing program at El Centro and after attending orientation, I am already overwhelmed. I wanted to see if anyone has ever been in the program while pregnant or gotten pregnant while in the program.
I recently found out of my pregnancy and I do not want to give up my spot as I've worked so hard to get here. I will sit down and talk to someone at the school but I'm so anxious to know if anyone else has been through something similar and will they let you sit a semester out.

I really do understand your plight! I really hate to discourage people about their dreams, but being pregnant and starting first semester is going to be tough on you. I'm a mom of 2 girls, and I know exactly what you're going to face ahead of you. But hey! It's doable......but, you will be stressed out at the end of the day, coz those hormones will sure get at you, if you know what I mean😊
I'm in the program, and waiting to write my Hesi for the first time. PM me if you need anymore answers, and I so wish you the best with the pregnancy. Good luck!!😊
Hey Asmyth12 wasn't sure if you were trying to reach me but I decided to go to Chamberlain College of Nursing. Finally set on a school. Now I'm just ready to start!!! lol
Hey shauntil07, how far have you gone with your admission process over there in chamberlain? Are you starting this January? Good luck!
