I am! That makes Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years! So much for he rotating holidays. Anyway, I am ok with it. Who else is working?
Yep, working. My unit will be bringing food and we have a small menu planned. Also we will be finishing up secret santa. We do bring food for each other almost quarterly and sometimes more often. For home I had the eve off so we had christmas breakfast and it's nice. Lunch will be brownies and coffee. Weeee! Coffee right before work, by tomorrow AM I will be so ready for sleep.
I worked last night 11p-7a, made it home just in time to watch the kids open presents, then sent the family to the in laws, and I am getting ready to get some sleep. I work tonight also. I worked Halloween, Thanksgiving, and I'm working NYE. I didn't volunteer for any of it; we were told that there would not be any changing of the schedule; if the holidays fell on your regular scheduled days, you would be working. Just so happens that the holidays this year all went RIGHT along with my schedule!

That policy stinks this time of year because Christmas and New years are always the same day. Are you off on Saturday for the Big Game or New Years for the Sugar Bowl?
I'll probably be floating to another unit.
I wish I wasn't. My MIL was literally just diagnosed with terminal brain cancer two days ago. She might have a few months left with palliative chemo/radiation. My husband flew up to be with his family. I'm working the next three in a row. Blargghh.
