Okay, so all the folks complaining about vaccine mandates can go work for this company. Problem solved.

I say screw it. Let specific clinics and hospitals cater to the anti-vaxx, pseudo-science crowd and let's study it. Let them open Ivermectin/Hydroxychloroquine clinics, where none of the staff are vaxxed and the docs and can give any drug they feel like regardless of any studies or evidence. We're already in an "us vs them" situation so let's just go with it. Have unvaxxed hospitals where none of the staff are vaxxed and only unvaxxed patients are allowed to go. Let's see what happens.

I can't understand the thinking behind the ad. Are they so desperate for nurses? If I was a nurse I would never apply there.

honestly I think this is a good idea. I just wonder how long they will be able to staff a place like this. I work for a large healthcare organization and they have openly shared numbers and data regarding covid admits at each hospital and what percentage aren't vaccinated. Likewise the number of HCW out sick who are covid positive and not vaccinated is significantly higher than those who were vaccinated.

I can't understand how this is appealing to patients either LOL but I guess there are plenty of them who don't want the vaccine (until it's too late) either so maybe they want a like minded and equally misinformed caregiver ?‍♀️

Most people don't really get a choice as to facility when they get into an ambulance.

very true! Even if they could they probably would never know or assume that a HCF was advertising not requiring vaccines as a selling point ?‍♀️

Forced drugs don't have to always be the solution.  

I've been arguing communication and information would be more helpful than disdain and force for the unvaccinated.

The information has been available for unvaccinated nurses just like it has been for their vaccinated peers, they simply chose to ignore or disbelieve it.  No one is forced to accept facts or evidence just like they aren't forced to vaccinate.

That's a generalized, and dangerous statement.  Contraindications aside, not everyone who is unvaccinated is an "anti-vaxx pseudo science" person.

People in this industry need to stop with the prejudiced attitude and statements.

What is especially disheartening is that a large percentage of these jobs are for the Department of Veterans Affairs. 

It suggests that we don't care about our Veterans.

consider they may be short staffed and need more nurses to care for the vets.

No if they cared, really cared, they would want their staff vaccinated. Most vets are quite elderly and very vulnerable. If my gramps were in such a facility I would have big issues with unvaxxed nurses/staff caring for him.
