Yikes! I've been watching too much TV! The only positive is I did clean my house for which my family is grateful.
How about you guys?

I got caught up on a couple DVR programs.
Every time I got still, my mind would roam and I'd check.
I guess I was a little productive cleaning, but it certainly wasn't fun. LOL!

I enjoyed a white Christmas in Idaho. I drove four thousand miles over at least four mountain ranges, three time zones and seven states. I'm happy to be home, but I had a great time!

Working, mommying, and enjoying a little time off! I am at a new job, so I am learning a ton of interesting stuff.

I have actually been working while at work -- instead of checking into allnurses to see what's been going on a couple of times a day. I am almost done with annual mandatory education modules!

I've been busy caring for step-Mom and driving husband to his appointments too.
I do miss keeping up with members here.

I've been trying to find ways to fill my time. The local craft store thanks me...
And my living room looks like a paint and wood and canvas tornado went through it.

I've been doing a lot more book reading. A LOT more. I don't have enough web sites to keep up with, besides this one.

My youngest daughter graduated from college, got married 6 days later AND we hosted her in-laws from England for two weeks. It was fun as it was their first trip to the states ever. Two moments of hilarity:
1: The look on their faces in the potato chip aisle of WalMart
2: Explaining 'biscuits and gravy' on the menu of the diner as in England 'biscuit' means cookie!

Oh WOW!! You have been busy.
We have relatives-in-law from England. My husband's youngest sister married an Englishman several years ago and she lives near London now. But when her husband-to-be first visited the US, there were several hilarious moments like you mentioned. You will be entertained for years to come.
