Enjoy your Thanksgiving

The air quality has gotten bad enough that our district is closing tomorrow and next week we are on Thanksgiving break. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, enjoy your family and friends and count your blessings. I am thankful for all of you.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my school nurse colleagues that so need a break by this point in the school year!! You get me through some tough days and I am thankful for each one of you.

I am most grateful that the dismissal bell will be ringing in 19 minutes and in 39 minutes, I will be leaving the parking lot for 9 blissful days.

will be celebrating my daughter's 16th birthday! I cannot believe that my

baby is 16.

Then working M, Tu, W, then get off Thursday morning just in time to

jump in the car and head to my sister in law's house, 3 hours away. Then

back that night so that my husband can go to work Friday morning.

We don't get off except Thursday and Friday. I really wish we'd get Wednesday off, but that's what it is. My sister is coming in so I'm hoping to rush out with the students to get her from the airport. Hopefully, the three kids I've got coming in at the end of the day for catheter removals will get in promptly.

Only Thursday and Friday off for me as well. But half day Wednesday. My husband is a church musician, so he has a service to play on Thanksgiving morning, then we drive 4+ hours to my parents house.

But I'm very thankful this year. For all of you to help through the hard days - and man, there have been so many this school year and it isn't even half over yet.
