Well...?
I start 8/30, but I get 30 paid hours over the summer for sports clearances and the like.
kidzcare was in NYC, but I didn't get a chance to see her!
The Kid graduated. We are headed to take them both to college later this week!
Hope to see new faces, as well as my buddies! Missed you all!
Kids here started back 8/2... already up to 50+ kids a day. Last year was well over 80. Does anyone have any guideline ideas that can be given to teachers about sending kids to the nurses office. I have provided bandaids and they have sinks in their classes, however, I still get tons of visits for scraped that are barely visible. The list could go on about unnecessary visits. I get so many students in my office at a time, it can take me up to 30 minutes to get to them and they are missing out on valuable class time for silly things. Any suggestion would be great. I'd like to come up with guidelines I can run by the principal and give to teachers.
I think the below posts will help

I started back on the 10th, students started the 15th. The other nurse quit, so I'm pulling double duty till they replace her. It has been so busy that today is the first I had a chance to check with my SN friends! I'm overwhelmed with care plans and emergency action plans right now, but still love it. This is my first time in 13 years that I haven't had a student with type 1 diabetes, amazing.
