I'm getting really annoyed reading threads in which the exact same thing is said over and over again! Please please please please PLEASE read the existing posts before adding your own, and know what the original post was about before adding your thoughts!
If you don't have time/don't want to read every post in a long thread, then do what I do - just stay out of that thread!
Okay thanks, I hope ya'll don't hate me for saying it, but it's driving me nuts. I just finished reading new posts in a 20 page thread, and I bet 100 of those posts say the same exact thing! :deadhorse
I would suggest that either someone that wishes to post an update create a new thread or maybe we should have user closeable threads.
If I post problem X on a new thread and then come back a week later and update it I should be able to close it. That way people know the thread has been resolved.
I've often thought the same thing. If one has started a thread they should be able to close it without having to go through a moderator to do it for them.

I think this was already covered about 6 and a half weeks ago, if you look thrugh the posts, back about 76 pages.... you will see someone else complained about the same thing. ....

Just to clarify - I didn't mean topics that come up over and over again - like "how much $$ do you make" or "NCLEX 200 questions" because I can just skip those threads if I don't want to read them.)
Is someone holding a gun to your head, forcing you to read these posts that you object to?
You know what bugs me? People who tell other people what posts they should or should not read. And yes, I'm answering the first post and haven't read every post in the thread. I'm giving my opinion on the OP's complaint. That's because I'm a self absorbed nitwit who only cares about what I have to say plus I'm already wasting enough of my life by answering this thread. Why, I couldn't tell you.
Another thing I hate is cross-posting where someone raises a point and then someone else comes in and steals the thread by posting about something different.
Freedom of Speech. It is our Constitutional Rights. It is nice to have all the posters to read all the threads before posting; but it is not going to happen.
LOL..i hope i am not repeating something someone else said, because i myself only read about half of the post..
my conclusion to all of this? the original op hates long repeated posts to a thread, yet he has repeatedly posted in order to explain himself, and yet we have 4 pages of this already!!
