I have this terrible habit which I can't quit. It's terrible but yet I waste time on it. I split my split ends. Help!!! What are your bad and yet so entertaining habits?

Jun 7, 2010 Okay my bad habit.....I will read or do anything, ANYTHING else but the homework I should be doing. Example: If I have a paper due in a week, instead of starting the paper I will do...housework, wash the kitchen walls, suddenly decide I need to walk 10 miles to get bananas OR I will read every other chapter but the one chapter that is the assigned homework.Sigh....Does this count?

This relieves anxiety and feels good. I have sucked my teeth so much that I am developing a small gap between the two teeth.I also have quirky behavior with numbers. For example, I do not like to set the alarm on an even numbered time, such as 6:00am. I'll set it for 5:59 or 6:01, but never at 6:00am.

(I learned it in nursing school, but the name escapes me now). I pick the cuticle of my right thumb with my fingers on the same hand. I've done it for so long that I don't have a cuticle to speak of on my thumb.I hated finding out it had a name, though. I prefer to think of it as slightly weird than a "disorder".

BTW, don't look up the lyrics. Only the title will remind me of you, so it's all good.
