Psych Nurses

Props to you! I feel physically, mentally and emotionally exhausted right now. I work on a medical oncology floor, but had many patients with secondary psychiatric diagnoses this week. I do not know how you do it all the time, but you are amazing!! I am so thankful for you all!!

How nice; thank-you ;)

Thanks Janey! Different strokes for different folks

Thank YOU for what you do!! :)

Thank you! And thank you for what you do too, I don't think I could do what you do everyday. =)

What a nice compliment! Psych nursing can be very emotionally draining, and I too have worked on an oncology floor with psych patients. Mind you, oncology is phsycologically draining on it's own anyway - and those patients have their own major issues to deal with.

Well done, you got through it!

Props to EVERY nurse

its so refreshing to see a post giving kudos to a specialty different than their own! the tone of allnurses has been on the up and up lately and i like it :-)

Thank you so much! I've worked as an aide in oncology before, and I have nothing but respect for oncology nurses as well!

Thanks for the kind words :)

I don't think I could work oncology--I think it would be too draining emotionally--so thank you for what you do as well!
