Sorry, but that sounds like a task that the SS volunteered for willingly.

Would you want to be the one that says 'no mr president'? Your whole political system is set up to give the one at the top pretty much anything they want whether its the right thing to do

This whole thing shows how little regard Trump has for anyone thats not him

And right now the opinions seem to be “it’s *** of the president to put his staff including secret service at risk by not following basic pandemic precautions” and “eff ‘em, they all volunteered to die and the SS can refuse an order that puts them at risk despite that not actually appearing to be the case.”

OK. Some tasks that the military does are not forced upon them. It doesn't happen all the time, but on the rare occasion some tasks are not forced, a few are done on a voluntary basis. That is all I'm saying. Everyone who has serves knows that one day you may get orders that may be dangerous, not all, but some.

In what world should anyone have to suffer an illness because a deranged president wants to leave AAYOYO for a motorcade to bless his deranged followers?  Out taxes do not support the  SS to catering  to deranged PR demands.  They are hired for security purposes only - to protect the president from outside harm.

Yes, that is true. But they do other things too. I'm confident the job is rigorous, but once in a blue moon they may get a chance to break it. Do you work ONLY on nursing related tasks during your 12hr shifts (besides your breaks)? I highly doubt it, I've yet to see a nurse who has even hard nose Nurse Rachets

When the Secret Service scandal during Obama happened,  I was not surprised or shocked. They just got caught. That stuff goes in the military all the time. Yet according to some once their duty is over they go to bed and read military times. Some don't like to do extra voluntary things, some do? Since it is Trump and the type of person he is, he likely went "Hey, how about going on spin to wave to supporters?"

Sorry to disappoint you but people who serve are not robots.

Please stick to the topic of the President and First Lady testing positive for COVID-19.

That's correct..they are not robots.  They are human beings with families. Their lives matter too, although the president of the prolife people doesn't seem to value their lives adequately to take reasonable precautions to protect them.  Nope ...Trump is concerned exclusively with that which benefits or amuses Trump.  210k deaths are meaningless to him as he encourages more citizens to expose themselves to the virus needlessly.  Trump is a psychopath.

Thank you.

Whether SS is being placed at risk and how they feel about that in light of Trump and FLOTUS being positive isn’t on topic?
