Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

"Since Title 42 ended in May, Biden officials have deported or returned roughly 500,000 people to Mexico and other countries, exceeding Trump's totals, which averaged roughly 500,000 annually. But Biden's higher numbers are partly the result of a much greater volume of illegal crossings."

The operative phrase here being "probably because so many were let in". Probably? Translation: you don't actually know what you're talking about.

Did you not see where the WashPo article states "But Biden's higher numbers are partly the result of a much greater volume of illegal crossings."?
I'll keep to myself who I think does and does not know what they're talking about.

How many illegal immigrants have been released into the country in the Biden years vs under the Trump administration?

Oh, it's so easy to complain while also being in favor of the status quo and refusing to even debate a bipartisan bill addressing sweeping changes favored by normal Republicans.

Sorry. The reason Biden has deported more people than Trump is because more people had crossed illegally hence a higher deportation number. Not probably but actually. Thank you for correctionig me. If you read the source you would know this and other facts as well.....

What's a "normal" republican?
There is no debate. It was a bill to either get more funding for Ukraine or the default, of making Republicans look like they don't want a border solution. Theater. They knew that bill would never pass. LOL

Trump-era policy separating migrant parents from children: Deal would settle key lawsuit

...The Trump administration's zero-tolerance policy directed Border Patrol agents to separate young children from their families, as their parents were tried in federal court on misdemeanor charges for crossing into the United States without proper documentation.
Department of Homeland Security officials initially defended the policy, saying they were abiding by the law – parents entering the country had been charged with a crime, and children couldn't stay with them.
But as the numbers mounted, so did public backlash. Children were held in emergency Border Patrol facilities and in a variety of shelter settings overseen by government contractors. Images of separated youths circulated in the media, along with audio and video of toddlers in holding facilities, crying for their parents.

How Biden and Trump compare on border crossings and immigration
Quote
Some Republicans claim that Mr. Biden has let in as many as 8 million or 9 million migrants. However, it's not accurate to simply add up encounters and gotaways as a proxy for illegal immigration.
One reason is that since the pandemic, more migrants have tried multiple times to enter, inflating the number of encounters. Also, many of the encountered migrants aren't permitted to stay in the country. Others gain legal status. Hundreds of thousands have claimed asylum and been allowed to remain while their cases are pending. Furthermore, migrants arriving at ports of entry are often participating in humanitarian parole programs, which the Biden administration expanded and considers a method of legal immigration. A federal judge upheld one such parole program in March.

We're supposed to forget the cruelty and mismanagement of Trump policy.
