Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

I'm not sure what top secrets you think Trump shared. But, at least you're right in that we know Biden can't remember anything to share with the Russians
Maybe your preferred media outlets chose to ignore Trump's tendency to puke out secrets on occasion. It was pretty big news when Trump revealed Israeli intelligence from Syria to his Russian guests in the White House. https://apnews.com/article/ap-top-news-international-news-elections-politics-campaigns-5e833a62e9492f6a66624b7920cc846a
The fact that you can't remember that while accusing Biden of not remembering is deeply ironic...no?

I saw a snippet from Tucker Carlson criticizing Australia.
They are a prime target for anti-lock down pundits. Melbourne just emerged from the longest lockdown in the world. They had six lock downs and it worked for a while having virtually no cases. Lately they've been on the rise.
They had a good economy the first half of the year but the Delta variant crushed hopes of sustaining that.
As they've exited lock down, so no need to attack them, covid cases have risen. Like the rest of us they are probably just going to live with it. The UK is struggling with this now as cases there are reaching levels where they've locked down before.
The Delta Variant surge here in Florida has been pronounced over buy the Florida Hospital Association. We maintained our freedoms and the economy was crushed a little bit but was maintained. We have to acknowledge the cost was thousands of lives, and strained hospitals to near disaster but we made it through. Personally, as a vaccinated person I'm glad I had my freedoms.

I think you're wrong, there are a lot of people that are supportive of the President and his vaccinate mandates and the idea that you get fired if you don't comply. People are tired of covid and the stupid reasons people refuse. I looked up what you're saying and it seemed spontaneous and not staged to me. Matter of opinion I suppose.
Yes, the audience was small. I think a lot of people watched Trump because he was entertaining and people were wanting to see what stupid things he would say. (Many people here posted "yeah he says stupid things, but.......(he gets things done, says it like it is, etc.)). Biden is a bit more boring and predictable.
But yes, with all the challenges, both his fault and not, his administration is in a mess right now on many fronts.

Play all the golf one wants, if he/she can still do their job. Biden has spent over two months total in Delaware, but doesn't have time to go to the border.

I did not watch the town hall so I did not feel equipped to comment. I disagree with your assessment regarding this administration being a dumpster fire. Boring, yes. Stymied by not getting legislation through, yes. Tragic loss of life in Afghanistan, yes.
I feel the president's role is that of chief of executive. He appoints cabinet secretaries and carries out the laws as passed by congress. He does not need to show up for a photo op at every crisis. Biden has appointed well qualified experts and administrators to execute the laws. If anything, he inherited a dumpster fire: gutted federal agencies, an untenable situation in Afghanistan, damaged foreign relationships, and a huge federal debt.

What freedoms were worth the huge loss of lives (and the economic devastation that causes) and the anguish experienced by the hospital staffs that had to go to work? What freedoms in particular, were so meaningful to you that it was worth the cost? Who is going to pay for all these monoclonal antibodies given out at thousands of dollars a pop at a time when vaccination was not heartily promoted? Yeah, the occasional lip service but not done in a big way. $30 per vaccine - something like that? vs. $3000 for antibodies? Where I live, we have run out of them. Despite the fact that we ARE fully open, restaurants are only partially open since they have no help. Schools that refuse mandates are open-closed periodically. The state university students are, however, doing great because vaccinations are required for in-class students. That is the only bright financial spot in the state.

Well in no way think or suggest you would treat your patients with anything but respect and care! I've already told you I respect you and feel that you have a good heart!!

That is the question of the day. On one side is those that will say that live saving is worth it for the greater good on the other side are people saying that Australia needs to be invaded as they are oppressing freedom even though in many regions they had no covid and no loss of live, or very little.
Really it gets down to the freedom to move about freely, the freedom to make a living, the freedom to make our own choices and not be forced into lockdown.
I had no say so in the matter but understood when Florida locked down and didn't protest or feel my rights were infringed upon. When the Delta Variant surged even worse than 2020 here I also had no say so in remaining fully open. But as a vaccinated person I would have been angry to go into lockdown again and like I said I rather enjoyed my freedom, but I would have understood. But the cost was immense, especially to the unvaccinated.

Seriously. The continued harping on "why doesn't Biden (or sometimes Harris) show up at the border to have their picture taken?" is silly and since certain people here keep harping on it I have to wonder if there isn't an extreme knowledge deficit as to how the executive branch actually functions.

Right but he and she very rarely talk with the press or reporters. I can't remember the last time Biden was at the WH podium for a presser. I think the feeling is he is not present enough, not photo opp.

He has a press secretary to talk to the press. Other than the former guy, can you name another chief executive who made sure he was personally in the media all the time?
What does presence lend to solving an issue? Many of the border areas are in red states and im pretty sure Biden would be met by “Let’s Go Brandon”. How does that help?
does the premier of Canada strut around like a peacock?
