Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

Biden is under no obligation to respond to a Trump>Fox News>people who parrot that stuff talking point. Period. The End.
I'm sorry you still believe somebody has to be physically located somewhere in order to do something they can do just as well, if not better elsewhere. It's really not the trend, so I suspect you'll find the road ahead a bit rough in many areas of life.
How did Trump get brought into this? Reminds me OF TMB

They why doesn't he just say that, instead of "I've been there, I know it well."?
Why couldn't he and Harris appear by video instead of in person for Newsome's recall campaign?

Because the original source of the majority of Fox News topics are derived directly from things Trump has said. They do tend to take on a life of their own after that, so the source is somewhat obscured sometimes.
The most classic example of this was when President Xi of China went from Trump's good golf buddy who was going to see our way on the trade deficit to "communist China" and "Red China" because it was a higher priority to deflect blame from his delay and mishandling of the pandemic in early 2020.
Fox News did an immediate pivot on their coverage of China which continues to this day Trump or no Trump.

I don't know. Considering the current vote count on the Newsom recall, he probably didn't need to do either. No 7,944,092 votes. Yes 4,894,473 votes.
I don't think Biden needs to visit the border.
I do think that VP Harris who is charged with the situation should visit. I think that when she went to visit Mexico and Guatemala to address the root causes, she should have went to the border and met with the people there first hand.
The border, while a ho-hum issue with Democrats is a very important issue to Republicans and they are the President of all of us and should address this concern. Fox News just the other day had an article about Harris's travel schedule and the headline was "guess where she's not going". I do feel that should she or Biden visit they won't be happy about it and that it won't be good enough.
But then again it could be part of the great replacement theory being promoted.

Tucker is a real piece of work when he believes that he has no limits upon his speech. And you're correct...visiting the border wouldn't be adequate to silence the whining about not visiting the border. It would be like a black celebrity or sports standout finding the perfect way to protest racial inequity...nothing will ever be the correct action at the correct time or in the correct place to calm the social conservative angst and animus about visual protest.

I do not always like what Tucker says however he has the right to say it. You have that right and so do I.......for now.....

You had better so some further research. You do not have the right to instigate a crime or cause harm willingly to others by instigation!
It's only a matter of time before the right judge allows a case to be heard and then he's going to wish he hadn't been born! We live in an age of technology and he's a very recorded person, so mucho evidence could possibly exist.
Fox News more than once has had petitions to fire Tucker Carlson, but he is their most watched host, and I believe the most watched host of any news network or even talk show and they aren't about to let him go.
The FCC does indeed have restrictions on what can be said on air. Surely he and his employer are clever enough to know this. I'm sure he's clever enough to know his power over Fox News but also clever enough to know they will throw him under the bus should be so vile his public turns against him. I believe the show is recorded live so they can't edit him.
He recently was torched for homophobic remarks about Pete Buttigeig's paternity leave. People expressed their outrage, he could care less, Fox likes the publicity and he carries on.
It's disappointing that a racist, anti-vax, homophobic conspiracy theorist is so popular. I do imagine he says out loud what a lot of people are thinking.
"Nearly four months have passed since the White House demanded the American people's gratitude because, according to the White House, the cost of a Fourth of July cookout was 16 cents less than it was in 2020. Much has changed since that preposterous Twitter post, a Washington Free Beacon analysis has determined."

Yep a real scandal for American conservatives...not like that fake news about nepotism or abuse of power or lying about a pandemic or lying about an election or inciting a riot at the capitol kind of scandal...but a real bonefide conservative hair on fire scandal about the anticipated inflation that was expected to follow the pandemic economy. You know, the American economy that struggled because of the pandemic that was mismanaged and prolonged by conservative efforts to undermine mitigation and vaccination strategies?
