The FCC does indeed have restrictions on what can be said on air.  Surely he and his employer are clever enough to know this.  I'm sure he's clever enough to know his power over Fox News but also clever enough to know they will throw him under the bus should be so vile his public turns against him.  I believe the show is recorded live so they can't edit him.

He recently was torched for homophobic remarks about Pete Buttigeig's paternity leave.  People expressed their outrage, he could care less, Fox likes the publicity and he carries on.

It's disappointing that a racist, anti-vax, homophobic conspiracy theorist is so popular.  I do imagine he says out loud what a lot of people are thinking.  

Disappointing?  What did you expect?  He is the guy My Pillow believers WANT to watch.  They like the adrenaline and testosterone rush they get when he spews his little boy vitriol.  Most of his advertisers are conservative news outlets and snake oil products.  Nothing reputable left there.  He is a dispicable human being and doesn't deserve you as a viewer.

Honestly, it's human behavior. Some people just have better filters and self restraint, etc at different stages of life.  I find that I'm rediscovering my childish humors as I age and find myself in the company of young grandchildren.

Tucker Carlson, is a reflection of Trump Supporters in every way.  Tucker Carlson is popular with Fox viewers because Fox viewers are Trump Supporters.  Tucker Carlson says out loud, to make money, what Trump Supporters feel (angry), think (hatefully), and say (racist and threatening ideas) out loud.  Although racist feign having to bite their tongue all the time, they are quite vocal.

White nationalists? Who are they? All Trump supporters? I mean what's the qualifiers? Are there black nationalists? What am I? I am a Trump supporter, I'm not white.... 

Hmm. I've been called c**n, the latter part of racoon, a bed wentch and most creatively, a uncle TOMahawk because of my aboriginal heritage. Guess who called me that? Not white nationalist. This open blatant acceptable RACISM  towards one group is going to lead to bad bad places. 

If we want to talk about children. It's well known if you say to a child, this is bad but it's only bad sometimes, well they'll come up with their own ideas on what's bad or not. So. 

We say racism is bad, except to white people well, soon it will be okay for the next race and the next after that. Until everyone is racist and all the process of civil rights will be stripped away. I understand a feeling of resent and hate when white liberals have been telling people like me that I am less than, can never compare and will always be a victim of white racism there for vote for them because they will give me money. Here in Canada especially in my aboriginal community are turning our back on that garbage as we have been blaming white people for everything for centuries and it has gotten us NO WHERE. My elder says that it is in the human spirit that evil resides and it is there regardless of skin color. It is a kind of universal trait we all have. It is our responsibility to keep it at bay and not blame everyone else for it. 

There is a white racist problem and it is in the form of the white liberal. Mostly woman with blue or purple hair. That have such a sense of superiority for us poor POC that they need to fix it for us with their BS programs and money. However they just want the vote for power,;they really care less. 

P.S: you are a nurse. I would expect a higher demonstration of intelligence and less manipulation. People who watch Fox News or like Tucker are not automatically white racist. Just like everyone who likes Rap music isn't a black thug so on and so on. I'm wondering if something he has said or how he has said it causes a bit of insecurity? Need to degrade him so not too many people hear?  He's made some sort of impression as this seems like a Tucker thread not a Joe Biden one. There is a reason more people watch Fox than CNN and they are not just white people. That's a racist generalization.

Who called you those things? Were you in the USA when you were called those things? Did your ancestral family get sent to residential schools by the European colonizers?

I've had situations in both countries. Yes, my aunt was at a residential school. However it wasn't during the worst of it. Late 80's when it was more of a school than a residential school. It was still classified as a residential school. I know allot of people in my nation that were there at the time the atrocities occurred. 

Evil people did evil things because of a really stupid idea. That being removing aboriginal children in order to assimilate them into modern society. My nation does not subscribe to "European colonizers" to the evil people. My elder says if you do that then you have to assign "Muslium terrorist "to any country that has a large population of Muslims and generalize all the same because of few or even many evil people from that group. Or any particular group. Another example would be asigning gang gun violence to young black men. We believe there is evil people in every group religion race etc. We do not believe in asigning individuals as the same as those who did evil things. Make sense?
