Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Over 80k evacuated in less than two weeks and not a single American dead, but yeah, Biden is failing?

I don't mind being an old white dude now, if I have this sort of potential? Hopefully? Unlikely? But, hopefully?

I don't get you people. You buy a car because you like its colour, but you then find out that the tyres are bad, the fuel pump is dodgy and it's leaking oil and overheating. Do you continue to defend your choice because you like the colour?. At which point do you realize that you made a poor choice? 

Trump is that car! 

How many times in how many ways must he screw up, even with his court appointed judges, acknowledging just how bad he is! But, his followers are just so thick, that they are willing to catch a fatal disease for him and he doesn't give a toss about them!

Because they are so gullible and stupid!

Do you have a source that over 80,000 have been evacuated?  I have numbers ranging from 28,000 to 48,000.  Granted, these numbers are a few days old.

Really?  How so exactly, considering Mr. Bush has been out of office 12 years, and Mr. Blair 14 years.  At what point should succeeding administrations be held accountable for their actions, or lack thereof?

How about Mr. Pompeo?  He's been out of office for 8 months.  Assuming for the sake of discussion that the plan drafted during his watch was the absolute worst that it could be, why did Mr. Biden implement it, as opposed to drafting his own?

Please don't think that I'm defending Mr. Bush, Mr. Pompeo, or Mr. Trump; I'm not.  I've said in another post that all three have a share of blame for creating and perpetuating this mess.  But so does Mr. Obama.  And while my hat's off to Mr. Biden for finally getting us out of Afghanistan, he now owns some of the blame as well.

Biden agrees with you and accepted that responsibility...the buck stops with him...remember.  

Holding Biden accountable for now does not mean that we can't and shouldn't talk about who and what got us to this point. We're supposed to learn from history.

So far....10 Service members killed, more wounded...according to Aftgans news 60 killed and 200 wounded...

Meanwhile Pelosi tweets about womens rights in the US, as of yesterday she is still focused on her trillions dollar spending bill. As of yesterday VP Harris was planning to stop in California to rally for Gov Newsom bc he is being recalled due to his elitist incompetence. Biden continues to project weakness which IMO emboldens terrorists...

Where are our "leaders", ie the people that claimed they would be the adults in the room...

They better step up soon!

History, facts and details that are directly related to the 20 year military experiment in Afghanistan are important, even when uncomfortable facts and truths are revealed in the process.  How do you talk about what is going on in Afghanistan without talking about what has gone on in Afghanistan? 

No, I think that we must examine and analyze past political actions unless we want to walk those same paths again. I wonder how that is not obvious.

That one line he had to read of the teleprompter was nice.  Of course, everything else he says and does, and those who defend him here, would suggest he doesn't accept responsibility.
