Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took the test at 8am this morning. I feel certain that I failed, but got the pop up about contacting my board member, etc. I am slightly more hopeful now and will let all know if it worked for me when I get my quick results in two days. Dear Lord, don't let me be the first person to fail that got the "good" pop up message!

I see many people abusing the tourist visas more and more each day that I read this website.I agree with the writer above. She is not doing anything illegal, because if she were they would not even allow her to sit for the test. Further, other states would not be given her a license if it were illegal. Some people need to be a more culture oriented and be more aware of the laws. Hmm I think we learned about those things in Nursing School.... someone must have missed some classes.
There is nothing stopping the state (any state) from giving permission to sit the exam as long as they meet requirements. If you check out the International forum we do get people posting that they are in the US on tourist visa and try to AOS and it does get abused. However I will say lately we haven't seen it as much due to the retrogression which has been ongoing since Oct 06. Some states do give a license without a SSN but we are slowly seeing a change where the state now requires proof that the foreign nurse is in the US with a valid work/immigrant visa.
Hi all,
so I took my NCLEX on August 11th in Cali which stopped at 75 Q's and while my name isn't on the BON I am getting the "pop-up" on pearsonvue. I've checked my profile at PV and my SS# is there and correct..remaining hopeful that the trick is correct because some of my classmates who took the test after me in Cali already have their names on the BON. Because this was my 2nd time taking it the BRN should have all my information right? So, does this mean I most likely failed AGAIN?

If you are getting the pop-up that says, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." then you can relax. Congratulations. Some people have their name up on the license verification list in a few days, while it takes weeks for others; I don't know why.
no big deal nrsecubanita. My main purpose why i came here is just to visit. and take the test. when the immigration officer asked me whats the purpose of my visit i told him Im here for a vacation and that's allby the way what is a GC? i have no idea what it is,
GC=green card. Again my apologies, I had two windows up at once and replied to the wrong one. Now I'm curious where's my original post LOL....Never tell an immigration officer you're here for work unless your visa specifically is for that purpose.
Well, the trick worked for me. I got the pop up about three hours after testing. I read the first 80-90 pages of this thread and felt a lot better about how I did on the test. Did the quick results thing today at noon and I PASSED!!! Thanks to everyone who posted about their experience with the test and the trick. Good luck to all!!
