Some tester have done this I think ... the trick to re-register again to Pearsonvue . If it lets you register and pay again that means you failed and if stop you from paying that means you passed.
Updated:
Members are discussing their experiences with the NCLEX exam, specifically focusing on the Pearsonvue Trick (PVT) to determine if they passed. Some are sharing their test dates, the "good pop-up" results they received, and the anxiety of waiting for official results. There is also confusion around account blocks, credit card charges, and the implications for exam outcomes.
Well I haven't gotten my result yet and I tried the trick and it lets me pay and went all the way to almost to confirm my order but I didn't ... Does this mean that I failed the NCLEX-PN??
Can someone help me please? I am scared and I can't sleep now. I have another week or two wait for my result ... I stopped at 85. Does this mean I failed the exam?
STEP 1 This is a test. Go To NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
STEP 2 Select The 'test Taker Services' Tab At The Top.
STEP 3 Click 'register' On The Right Side.
STEP 4 Click The 'credit Card' Link.
STEP 5 Click The 'sign In' Link In The Second Sentence.
STEP 6 Enter Your Username.
STEP 7 Enter Your Password.
STEP 8 Click The Button.
STEP 9 Click 'register' On The Left Side.
STEP 10 Select Your Test Type.
STEP 11 Click The Button.
STEP 12 Select Your Country.
STEP 13 Click The Button.
STEP 14 Answer The Yes/no Questions.
STEP 1 Select Your Country Again.
STEP 15 Select Your State.
STEP 16 Type In Your City.
STEP 17 Click The Button. A List Of Schools Should Appear.
STEP 18 Select Your School.
STEP 19 Select The Month And Year Of Your Graduation.
STEP 20 Select Your Board Of Nursing.
STEP 21 Click The Button.
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I took my PN boards on SATURDAY and stopped at 85 Q's. I walked out feeling that I failed because I literally guessed my way through the whole exam. Anyway, I've read the thread on the PVT over and over again, however I was just too nervous to try the trick. Well, I broke down just now and tried the trick and I got the famous pop up: " our records indicate that you just taken this exam, please contact your BON" I hope this is a great sign !!!! Lord, Please allow me to have passed !! I have to admit, I do feel just a little better now. :wink2:
I think is simple cruelty that Pearsons Vue doesn't let you know the results as soon as it is available. I was thinking that someone (maybe me) should do something about this. We pay money for this service, we are the clients. Is there any reason why the results cannot be made available to students right away? I don't think so because it is just a computer test. Students take years to prepare for this test and it means a lot to them, to their livelihood and their family. To put individuals through this level os stress is not fair at all. I think students have the right to know sooner. Does enybody feel the same as I do?
I agree. Its only nurses that they do this too. My sister is a dental assistant and whenever she takes an exam via pearson vue she gets her results right at the testing center.

I see many people abusing the tourist visas more and more each day that I read this website.I agree with the writer above. She is not doing anything illegal, because if she were they would not even allow her to sit for the test. Further, other states would not be given her a license if it were illegal. Some people need to be a more culture oriented and be more aware of the laws. Hmm I think we learned about those things in Nursing School.... someone must have missed some classes.
hey thanks for the support. just one correction I'M a HE not a she.. hehe that all! hehe:wink2:
I took the test on aug 2 and still no result and no name show on the CA BON.I have no idai what to do?I heard about the trick and I wold like to know that how can I try it? Thank you and cogreatulation for all passed
What all these posts about "the trick" means is that you can tell if you passed or failed the NCLEX by pretending to re-register on the Pearson Vue site. But depending on the message you get, you may have to wait a few hours, or a few days. Here are the steps:
1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex.
2) Select the 'Test Taker Services' tab at the top.
3) Click 'Register' on the right side.
4) Click the 'Credit Card' link.

whydavewhyi try it and it let me went to cc page, that's mean i fail right.i feel so bad becuse this's my 2nd attemp.
servant84 did you get your result yet?
if you remembered to enter your username and password, and the first screen says, "status delivery successful," and then after answering the questions you get the credit card information screen instead of a pop-up message box, then that means you did not pass. don't feel bad. there is someone on this post that took it 5 times. my wife is a great nurse (34 years) and she failed the nclex the first time. even my kaplan course teacher failed. you might want to think about taking the kaplan course. i took it and i think i passed (still waiting to see my name on the bon list though), kaplan will pay you back your nclex registration fee if you fail. hang in there!
we are not abusing our tourist visas! we came here in the US for a vacation plus to take the exam, i don't see anything wrong with it.
My bad, I confused you with someone else, my apologies. I responded to the wrong one. You're not the one who is here wanting to change the status of the tourist visa to a GC, and overstaying their visa.
I'm curious did you let immigration know that you are here to take an exam? If you didn't, then don't let them know that you're here to do with anything regarding your profession because that's a red flag against you.
