  1. Believe me, everybody feels that way after the test. Most pass though. See the steps to check, at the very first posting of this thread.
  2. HERE ARE THE EXACT STEPS TO SEE IF YOU PASSED OR FAILED THE NCLEX EXAM ON THE PEARSON VUE WEB SITE: 1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex. 2) Select the 'Test Taker Services' tab at the top. 3) Click 'Register' on the right side. 4) Click the 'Credit Card' link. 5) Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence. 6) Enter your Username. 7) Enter your Password. 8) Click the button. 9) Click 'Register' on the left side. 10) Select your test type. 11) Click the button. 12) Select your country. 13) Click the button. 14) Answer the yes/no questions. 15) Select your country again. 16) Select your state. 17) Type in your city. 18) Click the button. A list of schools should appear. 19) Select your school. 20) Select the month and year of your graduation. 21) Select your board of nursing. 22) Click the button. VERY IMPORTANT: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the Credit Card information page, that means you did not pass.
  3. I agree. I typed up those steps in hopes that people would see them and maybe the Webmaster would put a link to it or something, but every couple of posts is the same: "How do you do it?", "I'm sweating, I have diarrhea, I'm going crazy, is the trick real?", "What are the exact steps, like 1-2-3?", etc. 400 pages is a lot for someone to read through, let alone someone who is freaking out about all the rumors or misconceptions. I will try to contact the Webmaster to see if there is some way to have a link to the steps.

  5. Hi veeeeejj11, this is 'whydavewhy'. I told you that I would let you know when my names showed up, so here it is... I just checked the California Board of Registered Nursing, and my name finally showed up with an 'RN' after 11 days (I took my NCLEX test in Gardena, CA on August 14th). So the "trick" does work. Everyone who receives the 'contact your member board' pop-up passes! So if your name still is not showing on the Board of Registered Nursing site, just wait, and it will show up eventually. I don't know why there is such a disparity between different people's names showing up, but there is. Some take a few days, others takes weeks. Congratulations again!
  6. If you are getting the pop-up that says, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." then you can relax. Congratulations. Some people have their name up on the license verification list in a few days, while it takes weeks for others; I don't know why.
  7. if you remembered to enter your username and password, and the first screen says, "status delivery successful," and then after answering the questions you get the credit card information screen instead of a pop-up message box, then that means you did not pass. don't feel bad. there is someone on this post that took it 5 times. my wife is a great nurse (34 years) and she failed the nclex the first time. even my kaplan course teacher failed. you might want to think about taking the kaplan course. i took it and i think i passed (still waiting to see my name on the bon list though), kaplan will pay you back your nclex registration fee if you fail. hang in there!
  8. What all these posts about "the trick" means is that you can tell if you passed or failed the NCLEX by pretending to re-register on the Pearson Vue site. But depending on the message you get, you may have to wait a few hours, or a few days. Here are the steps: 1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex. 9. What do you mean by "gvn status?" I can't figure out what "gvn" stands for or how a person could lose it...

  11. It just depends on how lucky you are! some people get information within a few hours, others like me have a "records on hold" message for 6 days before it changes to anything else. Here are the steps: 1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex. 12. Hi 'littlecute22', If it tells you to select a nursing program, then that means you either did not type in the city of the school you went to, or you didn't click the button, or you did click the box next to your school (see steps 17-19 below)... 1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex.
