  15. Select your country again.
  16. Select your state.
  17. Type in your city.
  18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

There are several threads in the NCLEX forum. It works for most, though I've heard of some getting the "a registration cannot be made at this time please contact your BoN" who failed for the 3rd time as special permission is required from the BoN after a 3rd fail so they must contact the BoN to determine course of action and are unable to re-register for the exam.

That's not so in NC....there is no limit on how many times anyone can take NCLEX

Good luck with your official results.

When I took my boards, I was going to do that, how ever I checked my bon site first and I had a license. Took my test at 8 am and was licensed by 4 pm that day. It was a very fast turn around.

It worked for me! I had 75 questions. Got home tried to register for the exam it wouldn't let me. So I got the good pop up and then I had to wait for quick results to find out I did indeed pass. Good luck!

I went through Pearson Vue, passed my NClex in under 1 hour. This is a great program and I highly recommend it.

Pearson Vue isn't a program. It's the company that runs the testing centers contracted to administer the NCLEX.
