Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I live in Florida and I took NCLEX PN. How soon is does the pearson vue trick work?? I just took my exam finished at 845 now at 10 I got this message "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."
merged with existing thread that has answered this question lots of times
I was super duper skeptical, but I would have to say I am now a believer :) I passed my NCLEX-PN in WI with the minimal questions, left super disappointed in myself, and I came home and tried the PVT and got the pop-up. I took my exam on 5/7/12 and today is 5/9/12 and I have passed! God is so good.
hi everyone.. i took my nclex pn in dec 2011 and failed.. i was close to passing except pharm, basic care comfort, reduction of risk potential was below average from all the content areas. well i cried:bluecry1:. and cried. and more:bluecry1:.. i cried at work. cried in my car.. cried in the shower..:sniff:
.. i didnt study at all, only memorized the labs.. "so i guess i deserved it"
well mothers day was coming up.. so 15 days ago i scheduled my exam for may 12, 2012 for 12pm.. i prayed, and asked god if he can help me to get the best gift ever for mothers day:cool:.. "ME AND HIM ARE BEST BUDDIES :-))....
this was my study plan: saunders 4th ed. i practiced 50 questions per day for delegating, prioritize, pharm, fundamentals "study mode" for one week.. i memorized the infection control diseases, labs, pharm suffix with their classifications and labs the day before my exam. i struggled a lot in my nursing school.. when instructors used to give us study guide for the exams i still had to read the the whole chapter to understand the whole content.. thank god i did that.. finally today at 12 pm, i wasn't nervous at all.. just kept telling myself.. if i pass, i pass if not oh well next time ill practice more.. "the reason i only practiced questions for week was because i wanted to give my mom the best news on mothers day..:thankya: so had no choice lol.. trippy part is, the stuff that i memorized for nclex, only that material showed up .. my weakest area was maternity, i had no questions from maternity.. my strongest are was med surg and half of my exam came from med surg
I HAD : 5 to 6 SATA, 1 DELEGATIING, LOTS OF TEACHING, PRIORITIZE, PHARM with their labs, 2 addison questions, 5 to 6 infection control..my weakest are was pharm, but the medications that i got "my dad takes all of them for his hypertension"
I just got lucky.. my prayers got answered:saint: .. did the pvt trick.. getting the good pop up so far:w00t:.. cant wait to break these amazing news to my mom for mothers day.. good luck to you all :-))) ps: this trick better works, or else i will be crushed....
I couldn't be happier to see all of you still posting that the Pearson Vue test still works in 2012. So I am sharing my experience to keep this info current for those who test after me.
I tested on May 15th at 8:00am (48 hours ago) and so far I keep getting the pop up that says "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time".
I PRAY this means that I passed! The pop up is the only thing keeping me sane right now! I've wanted to be an RN since I can remember and this has been a long hard road to get here!
I will post my results when I know so everyone will know that the trick still works (or doesn't work). I should know by tomorrow morning!
P.S. I'm in Cali, ugh!

Yes, it really works! Two days ago after my exam, I have got a good pop up. Today I checked "quick result" ,and ....Pass!
Thank you everybody in this forum!
Do Saunders and NCLEX 4000 question as much as you can. Don't forget about Prioritization and Delegation La Charity, it must be.I had a huge prioritization SATA questions .
The trick is 100%! It's 3:00 am and my name and license number just popped up on the Board of Registered Nurses! Only figures I would find out at 3:00am, haha! Who cares .. I PASSED!
For those still wondering about the Pearson Vue test, IT WORKS! That little pop up is the only thing that got me through the 3 day wait (3 days is not so bad to wait in California).
same here , i got the good pop up but i just dont believe it .. cus i checked today on the state website &&& my name wasnt there ... man im soo bummed !! && i was soo happy && now i came all the way down ...
It WILL show up! I promise! I've had friends in class have it take anywhere from 72 hours to 6 days to show up on the online lic verification system. No worries .. CONGRATS!
