Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

To everyone that has just taken their NCLEX and are awaiting results, read this very carefully: THE PEARSON VUE TRICK IS 100% RELIABLE. It worked for myself, and I have scoured the internet looking for something to the contrary, and it simply does not exist. Why is this? BECAUSE IT IS RELIABLE 100% OF THE TIME. Keep reading carefully. As long as it says "Delivery Successful" on the Pearson Vue website before you try it (this takes no more than a couple of hours), and you get the "good pop-up (which I'm sure you've read about), then you have passed. At the moment you get this pop up, do not allow worry to enter your mind a moment longer, you have passed and it is a done deal. I am posting this because this is something that I wish I could have read when I was searching message board after message board hearing people going back and forth. Best of luck to all those who have recently taken NCLEX, and those who are preparing to. Once more, good pop-up=PASS......100% of the time.

I just did the PVT, and it says I cannot register and need to contact the BON. I then did the Quick Results and it said Grade: Pass. I dont feel like its real. Im still not going to feel 100% until I see proof of a license number. It took me 4 days for the Results on Hold to go off and for me to be able to do the Quick Results. I have been literally sick. Nauseated, not able to sleep or eat, waking up feeling a sense of impending doom.
For anyone who takes their test on a friday if your results go on hold, the 2 business days are not until the next tuesday to pay for Quick results. Just saying.

Girl ... smh!!! Congratulations!
D51/2NS - I love you!....I wish I could have read that the day i came home after NCLEX.
My post NCLEX experience was complete with exhaustion and massive amounts of anxiety....I too was looking for ANYTHING, ANYONE to indicate that they had received the pop-up / that did not pass, but was unable to. I am on Day 6 of not being able to see my name on the BRN website for Cali.....each day despite the 100% reliability of PVT....it still freaks me out a little. I know for a fact that BRN did not add any names on the website today, so waiting til tomorrow - which will be day # 7! geeeze! Still waiting for my good pop up to give me the result I am looking for - the RN # on the rn.ca.gov website! Thank you for instilling more hope! It's what I need!
