  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Not necessarily. They do what they can. Plus the website was under maintenance a couple of weeks ago. So you never know...

Back to update that the PVT was correct and I really did pass! CA took 7 days to post my results to the BRN, but now I can say I actually knew about an hour after the test was over! :yelclap:

I promised I would write a testimonial if in fact the Pearson Vue trick works. I spent endless hours after taking NCLEX (and after feeling 100% certain I failed) searching through every idea, option, opinion, testimonial to the PVT and found nothing negative. I was grasping for any means of hope! Of course I tried it and got the "good" pop up. Somehow, this made me feel somewhat more calm as the 48 hr. waiting period feels like 4 months! I found out within 49 hours that I did indeed pass NCLEX. The trick works!! And it certainly sounds as though it has never failed.

I am trying it and it says "Our records indicate that you already exist in our system" and then below that it it says "Please complete this process to reset your password." Then it asks for my user name, First, and last name. Does anyone get this message? I didn't try to reset my password.

no pop up = fail ?

Thanks

It sounds like you are trying to create an account on their website again. Log into your existing account and then select schedule test.

Its been 3 days and my test results are still on hold. I wonder how long this is going to last? I get the feeling this doesnt happen to many people.

Hey everybody! I am so excited to have found this site...although I take my RN boards in 2 days (the 26th) so I wish I had found it sooner lol! I have been studying like crazy for the past month taking practice exam after practice exam and using study guides....you know the drill:bugeyes: What is this "good pop-up" everyone is talking about, and by the same token, what is PVT and the just kidding pop-up? Since I take my boards on a Thursday I won't be able to see the results until Monday or Tuesday and if I can help it, I don't wanna wait that long to find out if i passed or not. Thanks in advance for the answers to my questions and all the best to my fellow nurses:nurse:

Nevermind...after I posted I went back up and saw that someone had already been kind enough to explain the good pop-up. My apologies -after 6 straight hours of studying my brain is officially fried:bugeyes:

Congrats on passing your boards!!:yeah:

I have been getting the good pop up and was waiting to see the license on the PA BON but it didnt show yet so I finally broke down and paid the 8 bucks. That being said I passed but I still feel kind of ripped off. The ability to see your result should be included not a feature to milk another 8 bucks out of you.

End "quick results rant"

From all the research I have done over the past few months it seems that the PVT is about 99.99% accurate. I dont think I have ever read that someone got the good pop up and failed.

In retrospect i am not sure if that makes me a "sucker" or just a student with wrecked nerves that couldnt take waiting anymore...

@Anne36 - keep the faith! I hope you are able to find out your results per Quick Results soon. Good luck :)
