Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

THE PEARSON VUE TRICK DOES NOT GIVE YOU A VALID RESPONSE UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER YOU FINISH YOUR EXAM.

The Pearson Vue trick does not give you a valid response until 24 hours after you finish your exam.

Some people have entered their credit card information and have been charged $200, but found out they PASSED.

Do NOT do the Pearson Vue trick unless you are willing and able to lose $200, pass or fail.

Pearson can fix the glitch anytime they want, and waiting 24 hours may stop working as well.

DO NOT DO THE PVT UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO LOSE $200 WHETHER YOU HAVE PASSED OR FAILED, WHETHER YOU HAVE WAITED 24 HOURS OR NOT.

The reason we are so persistent about this is because the results you got when trying the trick were a COINCIDENCE. They were not valid. They did not tell you that you passed because you did not wait 24 hours. Entering an invalid credit card number or expiration has not worked for others because they have gotten an error message telling them to re-enter information.

We are attempting to prevent those who cannot afford to lose $200 from making a huge mistake. When someone posts on here, "the trick worked for me 3 hours later!" or something similar, we keep posting corrections so that a single mom living paycheck to paycheck doesn't lose her grocery money.

I just found out I passed the boards today with just 75 questions!! I was so sure I failed as I left the testing center but I've been told everyone feels like that and it's very true!

But I just wanted to post about my experience waiting for results, which is so h a r d!

I wanted to do the PVT but I've heard you need to wait 24 hours before doing so and it is true. I took boards at 1:00pm and I tried that evening to do the pvt with a cc but changed the exp date because I was skeptical it would work. Well it went through all the way and gave me the good pop-up and did not say anything about my cc with bad dates.

Then I tried the next day after a full 24 hrs again with a cc with bad exp dates, it asked me to fix my cc info and I was for sure that I failed.

I waited a few more hours and decided to try with my debit card but moved all funds before I did, just in case. I got the 'good' pop up!

I was excited and hopeful and now I know that the trick still works, at least it did for me.

You are living proof of why we keep telling people to stop messing with this stupid trick, it is more and more unreliable as time goes by. So NO, it did not work for you....it attempted to charge your card even though you passed. This is entirely an example of what NOT to do! Would you be so excited about your pass had you gotten the 'bad' pop up the first time you tried the PVT? I doubt it...you'd be upset because "for sure you failed".

What you did was get a good pop up....and then proceed to try again to see if PV would take your money. So they obliged, and tried Which is why the PVT is anything but reliable in any way, anymore. I used to tell people to wait at least 24 hours....now I don't even want them to do that. It's WHOLLY UNRELIABLE, and you just proved it here.

WHY do people put themselves through this? I'm sure your post WILL help someone, but hopefully it will help them to NOT do what you did.

Grats to all that passed!

I took the NCLEX-RN on Wed 6/3 @ 0800 w/ 75 questions and 33 SATA. I finished at about 0945 and waited approximately 36 hours before trying the PVT, and I used a valid CC and correct expiration date. I got that "good" pop up.

The next morning at 0900 my Quick Results were available and I PASSED! PVT worked for me.

I took the NCLEX yesterday (June 5) at 2pm. I had ALL 265 questions, I was mortified. By question 120 I was holding back puke. It was awful. I just kept telling myself, "I'm still in the game because it hasn't shut me down yet!" I left crying and went straight to my moms, which just made me feel worse. I got home and started reading about the Pearson Vue Trick and decided to try it. So it was probably 5 or 6 hours after I took my test. I got the amazing red triangle message.

Does this mean I can have a little hope?

Does anyone ever fail, but still get the message?

Took the Nclex RN here in Manitoba last June 3, Unfortunately been getting the bad pop up since then and it only means failed:(. I cant explain how it feels, i felt devastated and left alone, i was crying all night 2 days after. But i guess i have to move on.. Congrats to those who passed the exam, you guys deserve it
