Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Nursing Students NCLEX

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

I don't see why a comment has to be made everytime people do the trick, who cares.. Let us do what we want. Jeez.

Because some people don't have an extra $200 to be throwing out the window. Some people have rent to pay. Some people have kids to feed.

Exactly. If you have $200 you can afford to throw away, PM me. I have kids to feed and a mortgage to pay, so at least I'd be putting it to good use.

I have rent to pay and a kid to feed and that why I put in a different expiration date before I did it. If people know the risks before they do it and continue to do so that's their business...

I don't see why yall have something negative or condescending to say after every person's post, get over it.

Anyways.. Congrats to you KELLYCBRN!! ?

Because society has degraded to the point where people can't even wait 48 hours for a result that's guaranteed to be accurate and costs way less than $200. Grow up already.

Thanks and have a nice day.

But how are people to know the risks if others don't comment about the ones who have done it incorrectly?

Comment all you want... I just don't understand why y'all are on the site day and night commenting after every single post about how "degrading" society has become and etc.

PS--my friend also did the trick the same time I did after testing (an hour later), got the good pop-up, and she also passed. Just use an invalid expiration date or CVC. No harm, no foul.

Just going to insert a word of caution here, because it's very much needed: Pearson Vue's registration program has been increasing its use of 'test' charges, which is where the risk comes in if someone does use a valid CC number.

HOWEVER, and it's a biggie, even if someone uses the incorrect data when the 'test' charge is made, how do you think they'd react upon getting the 'bad pop up' message? When the attempt is made to charge the card and it doesn't go through, the person doing the PVT gets a message along the lines of "contact your bank/card issuer", something variation of that. Which is what makes the person who gets that message freak out over having failed the exam.

It's happened enough times now ( I have read enough times on this forum, as well as PM's I have received from those too embarrassed to post their experiences on the forum) to know it's a bad plan.

These people feel absolutely awful, they are crying/hysterical/upset/whatever, and if they DID pass, it's all for NOTHING! Complete angst over having failed the exam......and it turns out they didn't.

If someone gets a 'good pop up' and then goes on to do the PVT again....and again....it only serves to increase the chances that they WILL have a charge attempt made. At that point, they are here freaking out that they thought they had passed "I GOT THE GOOD POP UP!!" and then they are SO upset that they did not (because of the newly-gotten 'bad pop up').

My goal in responding to all these "PVT WORKS!!" posts is not to be negative, it's to let people know that they risk much more than a couple hundred bucks. They risk their mental health in despairing over this. I'm not exaggerating, I see it as a very real consequence; people put everything they have, hopes/dreams, $$, and even believing for a few weeks that they failed can be disastrous to them.

Just worth considering, when sharing the "try PVT, it works!" commentary.

Continue to say what you want..I don't have time to go back and forth and like I said earlier congrats to everyone who passed and to every one who did not stay encouraged this test does not define you.

Maybe you should address the specific posters who are doing this rather than making sweeping generalizations. Or if it bothers you so much just block them and you won't have to see their posts.
