Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

Hi all,

I took my RN exam on Wednesday May 27. I tried PVT about over 24 hours later and received a good message. It's Friday 6am- a little less than 48 hours after I took the test. My MI BON updated my status as an RN.

Ps. PVT worked for me all 3 times.

1st times as LPN - good pop up in 2013 and passed. I did it about an hour after the test.

2nd time as RN - took my $200 and failed (I planed to retake regardless)

3rd time as RN - good message after 24 hour and I am a RN!

I'm not going to do it anymore. I'm in Ga and they do have quick results. Should be posted mid day tommorow

Just an update...I did the PVT this morning and got the good pop-up. I got an email from IN BoN congratulating me on obtaining my license around 3 pm. I passed!! What's crazy is that on Pearson Vue my quick results still aren't ready, and it's saying my results aren't ready.

Congrats to everyone who passed! Stay encouraged to everyone who did not!

I took mine in TX at 8 AM today, got to 206. Ofcourse, like a nervous wreck I did the PVT about 5 hours after testing and again 10 hours later, both good pop up. We'll see at the 24 hour mark. Crazy how this "trick" relives a LITTLE anxiety!

501 posts, with probably at least a third of them saying the PVT doesn't work until 24 hours after taking the test, and here we are.

Now you know why I largely ignore these posts.

I sat for NCLEX yesterday, and the computer shut-off at 75 questions. I had over 40 SATA questions, and I remember my very last question being a SATA regarding an advanced procedure we never even covered in nursing school. When I left, I just knew I failed. I felt it in my gut. I decided to do the pop-up trick an hour afterwards, inputting my credit card info and submitting, and I got the "good" pop-up. I tried again 9 hours later and got the same pop-up. 23 hours after I took my exam, I checked my state board of nursing site, and there was my name and license! I passed!! The "trick" really worked for me. I'm a believer.

PS--my friend also did the trick the same time I did after testing (an hour later), got the good pop-up, and she also passed. Just use an invalid expiration date or CVC. No harm, no foul.

Except to the people working for the credit card processor, who have to deal with this endless tide of BS from disingenuous people.

Disingenuous? Really? Ouch. And actually no, it is an automated process. I dealt heavily with online purchasing software in my first career, and I can assure you that if a card is declined due to an invalid exp. or CVC, nobody is "dealing" with it except for the software that is designed to deal with it. Pearson knows people do it. They are quite aware and have been for years, and if it was causing multiple issues, they would have altered the ability for people to do it when they made changes to the system recently. Seriously. It's not this big deal that you are making it out to be. I promise. It will be okay. Deep breaths.

I don't see why a comment has to be made everytime people do the trick, who cares.. Let us do what we want. Jeez.
