:heartbeat My first granddaughter was born today... My son-in-law sent me a video because I am unable to go there until the middle of July... I didn't realize how full a heart can get. She is 6.5 pounds, 19 1/2 inches long, and has lots of black hair... My daughter is great, too, and she said her nurses were just wonderful with everything...

Congratulations!
My first granddaughter changed my life and my personality more than any other person or event in my lifetime. I am still amazed at the depth of her love for me, and I for her. The 2nd one is sweet, and I love her dearly, but there's just something about that first one that blows me away. It's a feeling that can never be captured again. Revel in it. :)

There is nothing to make a heart feel warmer than an addition to the family.
Show her how a gumball machine works and tell her why it means so much to give grandma a kiss back.
And above all, enjoy it friend.
