Hi all,
Well it finally happened. I completed PNAP yesterday. I am super-glad to be done. Please note I'm just a regular guy & if I can complete this nonsense so can you. This program has done nothing good for me so I don't have a bunch of roses and sunshine to spread around but if you are reading this and wondering if it will ever come to an end it will. God bless to all of you for these last years you have been my strongest support system as nobody can understand the anger and loss associated with these programs as does another inmate. Stay strong, keep following the idiotic rules and come out the other-side with as much of you intact as humanly possible. I'll be here to offer support as others have done for me.
Hang in there!!

This is truly wonderful news! You've been put through the wringer by a program that is riddled with conflicts of interests and human rights abuses. You see it for what it is and your candor on the topic has shed light for many of us who would otherwise not know better until it was too late.
I hope and pray that you can put it behind you and heal from it. I know that probably seems like a tall order though.
Ha
we choose to heal or be victims. The people who survived the nazi death camps mostly made the choice of going on with life. I make no comparison as the implications are not close. However I’m going to try to put this nonsense behind me and live a life. Never make the sorrows of the past ruin your present or future

To an extent that is true IMO, but as someone with PTSD I can definitely say healing takes a lot of time. Though I completely agree that we can choose to forever be victims or can use our experience to help other people and feel strong for coming out of a terrible situation (sometimes even creating change).
Don't beat yourself up if it takes you a while to emotionally move past it.
So will it be easier for you to find a job now? I have stipulations on my license but I am scared that when I finish my year I am still going to be discriminated against since it stays on the bon, nursys and the data base. I have to check yes my license has been suspended if asked....seems endless..
