Hi all,
Well it finally happened. I completed PNAP yesterday. I am super-glad to be done. Please note I'm just a regular guy & if I can complete this nonsense so can you. This program has done nothing good for me so I don't have a bunch of roses and sunshine to spread around but if you are reading this and wondering if it will ever come to an end it will. God bless to all of you for these last years you have been my strongest support system as nobody can understand the anger and loss associated with these programs as does another inmate. Stay strong, keep following the idiotic rules and come out the other-side with as much of you intact as humanly possible. I'll be here to offer support as others have done for me.
Hang in there!!

I certainly plan on it. I celebrated last night with a pizza and some beer, yay! Now only to survive the pandemic. I may get detailed to New Orleans pretty quick here

Just be careful! You sure don't want to get summoned back to this hell!
Oh no. My drinking will no longer involve driving. I've said all along that I spent 3 1/2 years in PNAP and not 30 seconds in recovery. I was dead serious.

Great news! Enjoy your freedom! How long was it from the time you petitioned for release until you actually received the notification?

Well actually that’s a bit of a story. I was petitioned for release I’m the beginning of the month. A couple weeks went by and I called and talked to a case manager who told me that everything was on hold because of the virus. That frustraited me given that I go to work in a hospital every day. I was especially angered because this case worker was at home and I was in a hospital helping sick people.
Anyway after 3 1/2 years into a 3 year program I finally contacted a lawyer who told be verbatim what to write to PNAP and I did. He called me on Sunday and I sent this email the same day.
I was released from PNAP before 9am on Monday. I believe it’s because these folks are running scared. Get a lawyer in your state that does this and start a class action suit. I believe that one has started in my state. Sue these vampires and make them prove that the “treatment” they sent you to has any medical efficacy. Make them show why the people who do your “evaluation” are neutral professionals when they stand to make more money if you need the treatment that has dismal results.
In short don’t stand for this fecal matter like I did. Fight them tooth and nail at every opportunity. They are not here to help you but to suck the blood and soul out of you!
Thanks for the info. I also wish I got a lawyer at the beginning, but I was fooled into thinking they had my best interest and was bullied into completing everything right away with no time to even process what was happening. I tried to send a message from your previous post to get the lawyers info. I am not able to send messages though yet. Are you able to message me the contact info?
