For me I am not a nurse yet but I love this website, so I want to be a better me. I want to lose weight, love who I am, make time for myself and work towards my goal of being a nurse.
Your turn!

Great resolutions Pumkin84
I resolve to improve my tolerance level for people in general. People irk me lately. I guess I am getting cranky in my late 30's.
Happy New year!

I want to find a job that will enable me to help others, just in a different way than when I was floor nursing.

I aspire to cope more effectively with workplace stressors.
I wish to be more tolerant of patients, visitors, and others.
I hope to pick and choose my battles carefully.
I resolve to continue with the weight loss trek.
I pray for the self-respect to leave situations turn sour.
I aim to keep my house cleaner for longer periods of time.
I desire to continue pursuing my RN licensure.
I plan to amass more money.
I intend to ensure that 2008 is a significant, great year.

Instead of giving myself a checklist, I just want to live better.
This includes, for me, things like losing weight, reading my Bible and praying more, being nicer to people when it isn't a professional job requirement, keeping up with current nursing knowledge, and keeping my house cleaner.

I resolve to do the same! My irritability with co-workers has increased of late....perhaps caused by our nasty weather (constant gray days, constant rain) and an ill husband....or it's the idea of turning 50 this year with little to show for it---I hope it's a better year all around for all of us.
