Can I get a HOOYAH!
Share your vices and guilty pleasures.
For example: Every Sunday I order a Pizza and watch the Walking Dead.
(This post is in response to all of the "FIT" topics that I see)
I love this thread!!!
I don't indulge often, but when I do, I go hard! American Honey Bourbon and/or Citron Vodka, Extreme Chocolate Denali Moosetracks, my very own Personal Pan Super Supreme pizza, paired with whatever Pixar/Disney/Dreamworks movie catches my eye on Netflix. And I can still power-walk to a code without getting SOA!
I'm so bad at remembering brands, but I know what it looks like and you can get it at Whole Foods, so I did a search... and it is Talenti Italian Gelato. Amazing. They sell this at my local Kroger/Dillon's for about 3/4 of the price of Whole Foods. Of course, getting it from Whole Foods makes me feel like I'm making a semi-healthy choice . . .
Not yet a nurse, but a nursing student...and already on that great food/movie binge train. Before nursing school, I'd only drink water. Now, my snack is like, Orange Juice like x5 a day. I'm a huge eater for Taco Bell, McDonalds, Coolatas, and whenever I'm exhausted, it's my treat for myself. I love to watch Netflixs and youtube videos. And don't get me started with you when I actually have "FREE" weekends! I eat all! My stomach is like a never ending void. There are times I get so busy that I forget to eat so I'm hoping that balances it out! haha.
Every Friday lunch... when I have the afternoon off.... I pick up a large plate of Panda Express. One entree is good for me, the other is some sort of battered shrimp, but I try and behave by having brown rice with it. I eat until I am overly full... then I lay on the couch watching BRAVO reality shows on demand until my kids get home. There are probably several vices in there...

Hey I have a really good Juicer that I bout for 99 bucks at an Outlet store I also purchased a Ninja Blender for 69 bucks - I press juices and make smoothies for pennies on the dollar. I also figured out that Greek yogurt is just strained regular yogurt. I eat a very healthy diet and am still overweight - but like I said I feel good. I have skinny friends who workout and have HTN and hyperpidemia which I do not have. Being over weight is not necessarily unhealthy and there are plenty of peer reviewed studies to prove it.
Oh did I mention there's and old man down the street who runs a gluten free donut shop and people line up around the block every morning for the old fashioned buttermilk stuffed with fresh strawberries and glazed - Look up Donut Man on the net.
I'm all about enjoying life - I take reasonably health precautions but don't shame or judge others - I learned how damaging that was when my mother called me fat and ugly and told be no decent man would ever want me.
