Can I get a HOOYAH!
Share your vices and guilty pleasures.
For example: Every Sunday I order a Pizza and watch the Walking Dead.
(This post is in response to all of the "FIT" topics that I see)
Obesity kills. Let's not celebrate being a couch potato. Is it really fun to "commit suicide" over many years? I guess when you can't fit out your front door, you can have an enabler bring your truckloads of candy like the famous 1,000 pound man.Keep it real.
My great-grandmother weighed well over 350 lbs, smoked like a chimney and drank like a fish, and was more of a couch potato than anybody for thirty years before she died ... at 93.
I may be a big woman, but I was out shoveling snow this morning. And I don't smoke or drink.
Let's hear it for heredity.
And cookie dough! :anpom:
Some of my guilty pleasures (not daily, of course):
1. Hershey's Cookies & Cream bars
2. Twix
3. Kit Kat
4. Peanut Butter M&Ms
5. Pizza with pepperoni & jalapeno
6. French bread
7. Pork fried rice
8. Pastrami sandwiches
9. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas
10. Strawberry shortcake sundaes from Braums
11. Coconut cream pie milkshakes
12. Chicken strips with buffalo and ranch dipping sauce
13. Corn bread (the sweeter, the better)
14. Meatball sub sandwiches
15. Turkey stuffing at Thanksgiving (yum)

Cookie Dough
:anpom::anpom::anpom::anpom::anpom::anpom:
I work out of a home office. It's a struggle but I only occasionally succumb to the urge to make a batch of refrigerator cookie dough and take more than one day to eat. all. of. it. Sigh.
My guilty pleasure: Watching the British Baking Show followed by Downton Abbey, on PBS.com, on Monday mornings when I ought to be working. Or maybe Grantchester. Or Nature.
I love "The British Baking Show" which of course is followed by DA. The older judge on BBS cracks me up; she certainly enjoys her sweets. I was ticked that ***SPOILER ALERT*** Chetna got the boot. I thought the contestant with the longish blonde hair should have gotten the axe.
Now that DA is over for the year and BBS is almost done, I don't know what I'll watch on Sunday eves. Probably "Madame Secretary."

Buzz kill much?
Struggle: Too many carbs in winter. I put on about 5 lbs of polar bear fat to get me through the cold months, oh and sweets (especially ice cream) all the time. Ice cream calls out to me! Lately, it's been pizza & pretty much ANY sweet.
Guilty pleasure: Justified. Anticipate the new episode each week: watching the divine Timothy Olyphant (as US Marshall Raylan Givens) while eating ice cream. Ah… bliss!
Food. I just like food in general. Lol I'm a chunky girl but also a ER nurse who can jump up on a patients chest and pump out some compressions when needed so that's "in shape" enough for my job description. Haha am I trying to lose some weight and eat better? Yup! Am I gonna kill myself over it? Nope.
I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, I'm telling you it's going to be worth it.
