No Scott Toilet Paper?

Why is my favorite TP no longer available? What is happening with our distribution network? Why no Scott?

What other shortages are you all encountering?

Decreased amount frozen veggies in PA too, fresh plentiful--got fresh asparagus at Trader Joe's on Fathers Day. Awaiting Jersey Tomatoes in July.

I'm growing tomatoes, onions and bell peppers, sweet basil, micro greens, radishes, cucumbers, and two pots of marigolds on my front porch and cucumbers on the side of the house. If they run out of frozen veggies I'll have myself one heck of a salad.

I'm going to Lowes today to buy some potting soil. I'v been rounding up big pots to grow a container garden on my patio. Good idea!

In Austin, Texas I attended a CE class. Several of us then went to a BBQ restaurant for dinner. They gave a choice of meat and three vegetables. One nurse would eat no pork, another no beef.

They asked me to ask about the meat used to season the beans and greens. The friendly waiter said, "I can tell by your accent you are from Oklahoma. We joke that Okies think macaroni and cheese is a vegetable. :roflmao: We all had a good laugh.

PS: I've lived in California since I was 12 and generally lost my Oklahoma accent, only automatically using it on yearly visits with family. Being in Texas I unconsciously must have talked like an Okie. I don't believe I could speak like a Texan.

I think that Alaskans believe that anything that doesn't try to bite them during harvest is a "vegetable".
