Hello Tasha, and Welcome!
Congratulations on your acceptance to LVN school!
Welcome Tasha! Congratulations on gettting accepted into nursing school. Like Everyone else said STUDY, STUDY, STUDY. In nursing school you cannot cram for a test. Many of my classmates including myself found that out the very first few weeks of nursing school. You cannot allow yourself to get behind. IF the instructors give you an reading assignment. THEN READ IT. Even if you don't have time to sit down and read through it all then make sure you skim through and get the main points and anything that is bold or hi-lighted. Make flash cards and carry them with you every where. You never know when you will have extra time you did not expect. Study something everyday even if it is not for hours just so you can keep up. Make sure you take care of yourself as well. Eat well, drink plenty of water, exercise and take time out for yourself even if it is just 15 minutes a day you will keep your sanity if you take time out for yourself.
Good luck!!
Well Natasha congrats on being accepted into the LVN program. I am new here also. I was also accepted into a program. ADN, but I know how you feel. So many questions, and the first days are approaching fast. I have exactly 8 weeks till I start RN boot camp. It is going to be rough, but WE!!! can do it.
Go for it . We are with you.
