Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Published

I am starting in September I figured it would be nice to start a thread where all of us new students could come and and share our experiences/help eachother out as we are on our way to be nurses :)

I FINALLY start June 29th! Waiting for my daughter to get old enough being a single mother and now she will be 16 June 4th. Everything works out as far as her getting home after school, my mom lives right down the road, etc... It is meant to be!

Is anyone attending Lindsey Hopkins in Miami?

Well today is the orientation , school starts on 5-26-09 . I can't believe its here ! I'm going to CCA in Los Angeles Ca :yeah:YAYYYY !

I start September 14! I am so excited :)

I have orientation June 8th....start classes August 31st!!! :)

I'm not sure why but we already had orientation on May 15th. I'm finishing my pre-reqs this summer at my community college then starting the program in September. After LPN, I'm taking the bridge program right into RN. I'm buying my books in July and starting to read and study A&P!

Well I am 3 weeks into my LPN course. I have to say I really enjoy it. Believe me, when people tell you it's a hard program, it is! Alot of reading, tests everyday. They cram soooo much into such a short period of time, its crazy!!! I have already completed one of my 7 classes for this level, and its only the 3rd week! A&P is rough because it is sooo much reading, but just stay focusesed. I wouldn't recommend studying before your classes start, just take your time and relax, cause once you start you wont have any time, not even the weekends! I start clinicals the last week of June so I'm excited and can't wait! I've gotta go study now. You need to have a 74.45% to pass at my school; as of right now I have an 88 and 100, and finished my one class with an 85. I hope I can keep up the good work all the way through because I really love this program! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat
