Thanks! QNC will not process your application unless you have an IELTS exam even the CAS program, you can't get into the CAS program without your IELTS. You have to submit your IELTS results to QNC at the same time your filing your application.

i think they have a testing center in manila...and as far as i remember only 4 or 5 countries in asia/south east asia that has testing centers...
in OET they have sub categories...ex: nursing, medicine, pharmacy, dentistry sub categories.....your english skills will be tested conforming to nursing or to the profession that you have...same applies to medicine sub category, english will be tested in relation to medicine...
yes, its expensive its more than twice the price of ielts...and in my opinion its a bit scary compared to ielts...
in ielts, the exam/s is/are all the same to all professions, but in oet it depends on what profession you have.

punjabi, yes its better for you to email or ring them, but dont expect that they will send you a reply, i think they are still having a break 'cos its christmas...and im sure they will get back to you as soon as they received and read it...

1.Do you really have to show the real cash?
2.Will they really count it?
3. What if you only show mastercard or any other card, won't it be accepted?
And also with the "financial support" in applying for visa, can anyone give some info on this? THANKS.

The show money has to be real money in the form of bank statements (which was held within the last 3 months before application). Mastercards and credit cards are not accepted as valid evidences. Loans can also be used and you must present the documents which certifies this. And yes, they will really look at how much money you have.
i would like to share my experience with QNC. the council returned my application together with the attached documents because according to them the notary public failed to state that he/she sighted the original document. i search the net how to certify a document and found some resources which are mostly from australian institutions. i presented it to the notary public and she certified my documents as...I have sighted the original document and certify this to be true copy of the original. Signed this ___ day of _________ 2008 at ___________, Philippines.please don't forget to include the contact details, address and phone number/s. just my

It's so nice of you to share me your actual experience. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I lodged my application to QNC already.
I think if I get my application back from QNC, I will ask my notary use the format that you told me to certify my docs.
However, do you have to pay money for the same notary public again? and can you use the old docs that QNC sent back to you to add more words in those docs? or you have to use the new docs.
