Hi everyone, please help me.
I graduated last march 2007 here in the Philippines and I have my license here already.
Because of oversupply of nurses here, it's too difficult to find a job.
That's why I'm looking forward to working in Australia or New Zealand.
However, I'm confused. Esp about Australia.
I already have my bachelors degree here.
When I go there in Aus to work as RN, must I take a diploma in nursing first? can I work while studying?
After obtaining my diploma there, am I already a registered nurse?
Thank you!
You are most welcome Punjabi!!

Hi Aelith and to anyone who has an idea..![]()
is it really true that QNC now added 6 months experience as part of the requirement to register?
Hello Marie :)
I am still unsure of that certain aspect. I have been trying to check online at QNC's website, but, I have not found anything that says they now require 6 months experience. Maybe it's true and they just haven't posted it yet there or it could also be just a rumor or not mandated yet.
I'm sorry if I'm not much of help for this.

I would like to know some details on how to apply for Permanent Residency after passing the CAS. Someone told me that there are hospitals requiring overseas nurse to become PR of au first before hiring them. But one of the requirements in applying PR is to study there for atleast 2yrs. Any advise on this matter? thank u!
hi ryan09! i would like to ask how many weeks did you wait before you got the letter from NBV? Im waiting for the letter of approval from NBV to take the bridging... why you decided to go for queensland instead?
i havent got enough money to pay for the bridging program, its a bit dear, will cost $10, 000...
it took two months for them to send a letter of confirmation to me.
