  1. Hi everyone! Anyone still planning on taking QNC's Challenge Test? I have some reviewers/books here for Part A of the exam which I bought before from two contributors of this thread. For those interested, just pm me guys. Thanks!
  2. Oh, and along with the acknowledgement letter came my receipt for the $158 credit card payment.=)
  3. they acknowledge it by post. You will receive your acknowledgement letter probably in two to three weeks time.. God bless!
  4. oki doki! My gosh! its really that long huh?! I read a few threads back that the waiting time is around 2 1/2 months for those who submitted last year.. Gosh! I hope it will be that fast for us. I have not yet heard from them. My only concern is I sent my verification of license via snail mail (20 days accdng to PRC). I am banging my head now for not opting for FEDEX which costs 1200 I think. Argh! Word of advice by the way for those who are applying for verification of license in PRC. If you are not from Manila, if you have some financial resources, better do your verification in PRC Manila. After applying for verification, they will ask you to return after one week. By then, everything is done and ready to be sent to OZ. They will ask you what mode of sending will you like to choose. Please choose the fast mode (i think its fedex). Don't be like me who is a tightwad.. hahahaha! Now I am suffering in anguish wishing I sent it via the fast way..
  5. Ey guys! QNC acknowledged the receipt of my application last February 18, 2009. PRC Manila sent my verification of license last March 6, 2009. To those who received their go signal to take part A test, can you all give me a rough estimate of when will I probably receive the approval to sit for part A? Thanks a lot in advance! BTW, I let PRC send my verification of license via regular mail, which they told me will take 20 days before it will arrive in OZ. Will that set me back much? All your responses will be a great help. If it will still take more than 3 months before I sit for the test, I might consider going back to the hospital to add some more months to my experience. Thank you! (Paris Hilton version! hehehe!)
  6. Thanks for the clarification cvekowalska! whew! now that's another load off my shoulder..
  7. Thanks a lot joeturtle! wishing you all the best for your part B!
  8. Hiya aelith! what visa is suitable for me when I go to oz for my part II clinicals in the future if I want to bring my husband together with me? I am a bit confused because I thought its the 456 visa before but now, joeturtle's visa for the clinicals is 676 which is an individual visa. how's that? thanks aelith!
  9. For those who have already taken the part 1 test, can you give us an example of one question in the test and what/how did you answer it.. tehehehe! they say there's a short answer type test.. How long should be the answer? Where can we find a sample questionnaire so that we will be in a way familiar before sitting for it?
  10. Hi joeturtle! Congrats! Keep us posted ok? Btw, what medicals did you undergo and where? and how much is your rough estimate for your expenses and pocket money? thanks so much! wonderful luck to you and to all of us!
  11. Thank you for the enlightenment! Yes, goodluck to all of us! :dancgrp:
  12. Ey joeturtle! Does QNC really now require 6 months experience in order to register?
  13. Hi Aelith and to anyone who has an idea.. is it really true that QNC now added 6 months experience as part of the requirement to register?
  14. thanks a lot for the sources joeturtle! i hope I can find: 3. Transcultural Nursing in Multicultural Australia by the Royal College of Nursing. 1996 4. Essentials of Law for Health Professionals by Forrester and Griffiths hmmm.. is the book number 4 sold here?
  15. congrats! gosh so wonderful to hear! can you post the link of the thread you started regarding the challenge test? thanks!
