NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

Good day everyone!Just an update, I was told by NY BON to make payment for the NCLEX exam so they could make me eligible and receive my ATT after. I already paid 200 usd I thought its 350? Or should I pay the 150 usd upon scheduling the exam? Thanks!

$350 is if you are testing outside the US. Once you schedule you will be asked to pay the additional fees, otherwise it's assumed you are testing in the US

hi georginafiona... was it your first time? When I first took the nclex exam i also failed, that was back in 2008. Next month feb 26 will be my 2nd attempt. Dont lose hope. How many months did you prepare and review for the nlcex exam?

Just want to ask I applied last sept 2015 for Cgfns verification and until now its been 4 months and my verification in PRC for licensure are not yet forwarded in CGFNS I am so worried and don't know what to do. I tried to call CGFNS once about my school verification if they receive it and they told me not to intervene from the transaction because its an office to office transaction, I cannot wait this longer. What to do? Please help![emoji20]

you really have to wait... mine took about 6 months before cgfns received everything from prc and school credentials...

Hi @buknit just wonder once the prc and school credentials received by CGFNS how many months would it take for them to process it and forward it to NY? And how many months also would it take to process by NY before they give me ATT? Thanks in advance
