NCLEX application in NY for NON-US applicants.

I am a nurse here in the Philippines and it is my first time to apply for a licensure at New York State. I'm processing my CGFNS Credential Verification for New York State (CVS) online, but I haven't completed it yet. I just wanna make sure if I'm doing the right thing. Is there anyone here who can help me or give me information on the step by step process of applying for a license in NY state, from CGFNS up to application at the NY State Education Department (NYSED). I am doing the process on my own and just basing it from what I read from the site and the other blogs here, but I'm still confused. Can someone help me on this? One who had undergone the same process before. Thanks!

Some said it takes 2-4 months? Which is true 6 or 2-4 months? Still waiting for my ATT til' now...

Depending on CGFNS and receiving documentation in a timely manner you are looking at approx 6 months before CGFNS transfers all documentation to NY. Then up to NY but could be 1-2 months before receive ATT

Im done with the CGFNS.. Thanks God! Now, Im waiting for my ATT.. It's been almost three months now since the CGFNS has issued a report to NYBON.. And im confused whether it would take 6 or 2-4 months... Lord Please...

Finally after 10 months I got an email from NY BOn last night instructing me to register in pearson vue so the could make me eligibile for the NCLEX Exam. My CGFNS CVS report was issued back in November 2nd week and was directly submitted to the beauru of comparative education in ny for review. I tried to contact comp ed thru email an

pregarding the status of the review and was told it would take 4-6 weeks for them to finishthe whole thing. And just last night I got an email both from NY bon and comp ed regarding the approval of my application. Thank god! Now I sign up at pearson vue and didnt know it would take 1 business day for them to create my account in their site. Can somebody guide me on what to do next? Thanks

Just sign up with Pearsonvue and watch you inbox as well as junk folder for your ATT, can take anything from hours to days to receive. Only then can you schedule sitting exam

so after signing up in pearson vue site do i need to inform ny bon eventhough theres no confirmation yet with my registration with pearson vue?

No you do not need to let BON know once you have signed up with pearsonvue

Im having trouble creating a web account in Pearson vue. The only email I got from them was that the web account creation has been processed. Its been two days already and I havent ny other email from them confirming my registration. I tried this back in november as well, they only provided me with a username. no password. errrrrrrr

And all I've got from them was.. "Just call us a week or two.." So I had to wait for another week or two.. And when I called them.. I had the same answered from them the first time i called them.. I am soooooooooo worried now.. Hope everything is okay.. I am an International Nurse... Any advices? Appreciated it if you have.. Thank you!!!

Yes! I have already submitted and all the other requirements that are required... Above mentioned, CGFNS have already issued a report through mail last 2nd week of October last year... Hope everything is ok... Thank you!!!
